Wisp is an old, quiet, contemplative Bookling.
They come off very dour and hard to 'crack', and it doesn't help that they do not talk whatsoever. If they need to communicate, they do so via writing.

Underneath their stoic exterior, Wisp is quite clingy, desiring of power and prestige through being a loyal servant or follower (not that they say as much)... When they find a passionate energy behind humanoids, they are loyal to the end, whatever those ends may be. They have had many masters but none as powerful and knowledgeable as Wisp themselves. Overall, they are mysterious, and cold with intention. 

Whether or not they mean well underneath their callous behavior is a true question for those that cross Wisp's path...
