The legend of the Kraken was supposedly a myth, but there he lies existing within the depths of the waters around the Kingdom of Litari. However, the Reaper of the Depths has no interest in laying waste among the vast land; he prefers to remain under the waters in peace to handle his own personal issues that he continues to struggle with. But if someone wishes to start chaos among his territory, he has enough force and power to flood a whole country if he wishes to.
About
The Kraken view humans as his equal, who rarely looks down upon them for their limited abilities as a mortal individual. He was once a small, octopus-like creature, who was taken care by a prince, hence his viewpoint among humans are somewhat in a positive area. Even with his given powers of Darkness these acquired powers are only used for those who wishes to seek harm on him, his loved ones, and even his territory. Although territorial within his own waters, as long as many ask for permission to use resources (including his own individual), he's very lenient and sparing regarding on what's being asked.
However, even if he was given a brand new (and more preferrable) form, his past with his former lover now has given him consciousness about his looks overall. Often he cowers his face behind the shadow of his hood, build with a liquid void that could resemble octopus ink, and had refused to remove it for years since his wife left him. Even with the dozens of compliments that he gets from others, he has a hard time believing even if they were meaningful.

- The Kraken's home is within the deep depths of the waters around the Litari Kingdom. But if he were to be honest, his "territory" expands to the waters around Cathal as well.
- His diet mostly involves crab, shrimp, lobster, and hotpockets. He cannot consume certain fishes (like goldfish and koi); they hurt his stomach.

He can easily be attached if given repetitive kindness towards. The Kraken likes to be fed by his friends, or those close to him.
> Roy, who has fed him during his days as a juvenile with nothing but hot pockets, has developed a strong attachment to him. He considers him as a sort of parent. Even when he's older, he'll listen to Roy regardless of the circumstances.
> Mother Dearest, his former lover, has often presented him dozens of different meals that includes shellfish. Aside from her beauty, her motherly instincts made the Kraken eagerly attached to her. - Although capable of just using his magical abilities, he can also wield a scythe that he designed himself. However, most of the time he uses the scythe was to simply cut off the overgrown kelp and abandoned nets that many sea creatures get stuck in.
- His hood is made of ink that he used with his own sorcery. It's dark enough to hide his face that he deems 'too ugly for others to look at'
- Has a strong hatred for sirens.

Roy [ A Parental Figure(?) ]
Now he doesn't view Roy like a father, but when he was just a juvenile, pile of tentacles, he truly saw him as a father. Perhaps as he grew older, his life of independency, allowed himself to be somewhat detached from him. Yet everytime he sees Roy, he has nothing but respect and will listen to what Lane says (or demands). The Kraken's powers that were given by him allows him to sense whenever he's nearby. Otherwise, if he was craving for a hot pocket to two, he'd go out of his way to find him (quietly).
Mother Dearest [ Ex-Lover ]
Did he not look good? Was he not doing enough? Or was he simply just BORING? Whatever reason Mother Dearest had that made her leave his side greatly affected him. He never had someone so attached to him, leave on such a sour note, and thus he pondered greatly as to the reasons why he was left behind in the deep, cold, depths of the waters. Since her leave, he had covered his face with the hood made by the ink from his own body, and refuses to remove it until she comes back to him.

The Kraken never recognized En the first time they met, where the boy was on the boat and he caught hold of the Conquerer trying to steal his treasure(s). Regardless, after he had attempt to inflict harm, it was then after Roy told him that he had almost drowned his youngest child into the waters. Since the meeting, he lurked around the waters to watch over En when Roy disappeared. He had little interest over the politics that the Prince had been in the middle of, as long as the boy is safe he is satisfied (for now)
