|| Deity of Life and Death, Suoha ||

Suoha is the rushing rivers, the breeze between the branches, the first sprouts of spring, the laughter in your throat, the apple rotting and the worm wriggling within, every creature's heart thrumming and the lands torn and reshaped by their unsteady hands. Suoha is Pippaf.

Among the 5, Suoha is the least worshipped deity. A majority of creatures are unaware of Suoha's true presence or power, and throughout history, Suoha has "interacted" (aka, taken a physical form and hung out) with the living barely at all when compared to the remaining 4. Little do the creatures know that Suoha interacts with them every day. That Suoha is a part of them, just as much as they are a part of Suoha.

Virtues

  • Similarity and igsignificance: the idea that no one being is above another, that we are all more similar than different.
  • Experience: the purpose of life is experience, whether lofty or simple. Seek experiences, and even the ones that aren’t joyful still have meaning.
  • Want: all things want, and wanting is good, but your want shouldn’t hurt others. Generally, live and let live.
  • Understanding, Tolerance and Intolerance: the desire to understand others unlike you, but not tolerating intolerance when presented with it. (Suoha condones violence, and generally action over inaction)
  • Circumstance, Fate, and acceptance: bit of a controversy among Suoha worshipers. Does fate exist? Do all things happen for a specific purpose? Either way, Suoha worshippers promote a “bad things happen, accept it and live with it” kind of mindset. Not as hopeful as UjajU’s virtues, but not as pessimistic or defeatist as Erars either. Just live with it. You decide what that means for yourself.

Offerings

  • A lit candle or match.
  • A jar or bag of ‘breath’. (breathing into a bag/jar then sealing it). These can also be strung up together with rope or thread. Additionally, bones can be incorporated into this hung rope (or a rope of bones alone)
  • Woven bracelets or jewelry, made from yarn/thread/fabric.A common offering is a bracelet woven out of blue, red, green, and gold, meant to symbolize Suoha’s rainbow.
  • A worn and smoothed river pebble. Bonus points if wrapped in thread, even more so if the threads are blue, red, green, and gold. Or simply deep gold, Suoha’s defining color.
  • A bundle of tangled ropes and/or threads.
  • Bones and teeth, but not those obtained from needless killing. Bonus points if wrapped in threads.
  • Crushed yellow petals or gold dust: meant to represent star dust or concentrated keyaa particles. Can go the extra mile and put it in a glass jar , the lid decorated with Suoha’s double rainbow colors/pattern and/or wrap the jar in rainbow colored threads.

Dress

Clothes and jewelry made of bones and teeth. (bonus points if made with gold wire, either painted or real)

Lots of frills + lace: to represent fog/mist. (usually black or dark-colored lace).Black Lace may be adorned with tiny bits of embroidered white or deep-gold thread to represent stars

Double rainbow woven thread/rope necklace or other decorative adornments.
