Akia

For the most part, Akia is a very laid-back and mild-mannered Caprasi. He's quick to join friends in whatever they have planned, not always thinking it through or sometimes he even participates when he knows it's gonna end badly. A lot of comments go over his head and he can make many blunt observations (and then speak them out loud). He's never afraid to speak his mind, which can come of as honest or rude (espially to the higher ups in Vallden). He also has trouble expressing his feelings and opening up to others, a big reason why he has very few friends.

Akia came from a wealthy family in Vallden. Ever since childhood there was a lot of pressure on him to become everything his parents hoped from him. Eventually he was send to the Vallguard like evryone in his family to keep up this reputation. But despite the diffulty he faced and the weird faces he got as one of the few Caprasi there he managed to thrive. He was placed in a group of Volkar and they got along incredibly well, forming a tight friendship together.

One day Akia and his group were stationed as guards for a small prison hold. The prisoner was supposed to be transported the next morning for interogation and was considered to have valuable information. This made him a target for someone who could not risk having him speak. Thus a hitman was send to finish the job. It was the youngest and boldest member of the group that accidentely faced this hitman, and it cost him his life. But things didn't go as planned for this killer as well, all the ruckus managed to grab the attention of the rest of the guard group who were devestated by the body laying there. Akia wasted no time getting his weapon and threw himself at the killer. It got him some scars, but he got what he wanted: to see the face of the man that murdered his friend. A dark Drakerne with an icy piercing look.

Akia quit the next day and set out to find this Drakerne. It proved to be near impossible, but he did get close to him a few times, only for the man to make his escape. Eventually he made it all the way to some forest that was pretty much unhabitet. The trail ran cold there, so he spend a long time living in the woods hoping to pick up some trail again.

One day he got a sign in the form of another Caprasi walking through the woods at night. The first time he saw them from a distance and didn't get closer. But worry set in for this Capresi that walked around probably lost in the middle of the night and he managed to talk to them eventually. And in that introduction, he remembered them from when he was a child, Wisp. The two met up a lot and became friends. After Akia told Wisp about why he was there, Wisp became eerily quiet and left. Eventually, they unknowingly led Akia right to the man that had hid so well. But it turned out to be someone very dear to Wisp, and Akia couldn't kill him after realizing how heartbroken his friend would be, and that revenge would only bring more losses.
