The youngest of Vergil’s brood. Rodin’s like a little version of his mama, and a real sweetheart. He's a strange one by the standards of Sparda's kin. Don't mean nothing bad by it, just that he's a lot gentler than the rest of the demon-blooded part of his family. He tends to prefer helping his Mama with her work than running around slaying demons.

But don't mistake that softness for weakness. He won't go looking for a fight, but if someone brings it to him, he ain't backing down. Despite avoiding conflict where he can, he still gets his kicks out of a good fight.

Unlike his sisters, Rodin hasn't reached his full potential yet. No one's too bothered by it, him least of all. He'll get there at his own pace, just like he's always done.

How the mighty have fallen. Once, Mundus had Vergil under his control as a mindless puppet warrior, but now he's gotten his vengeance. If a devil arm can only be created when a demon submits to a greater power, Vergil and Dante must've really put the hurt on the Prince of Darkness.

Not that the vanquished demon emperor was good enough for Vergil. Guess what, he brought it to me with a shard of Yamato (how many of those things does he have stashed away, anyway!?) and barked at me to fix it up. I did it, but it felt weird... like Mundus is just bidin' his time or somethin'. Guess it ain't much to worry about, what with how many times ol' Mundus has taken a lashing at this point.

Rodin was born the day Mundus fell. Vergil must've thought it was appropriate that he should pass on this spear to his youngest. There's a kind of poetic irony in how Mundus kept tryin' to tear Sparda's family apart, and now he's defending that family -- whether he wants to or not. If he's still conscious in there, this must be like his own personal hell.

And, I may have thrown in an extra gift for the little one. He's had a fascination with Nero's Red Queen and Blue Rose, so I fixed up a revolver for him. And not just any revolver -- one that can be revved up to add an explosive punch to his shots, perfect for blasting through demonic armor. Hooey! You shoulda seen the old man's face! Might've gotten a little carried away on this one, but hey, the kid sure likes it.
