Stormseeker

Stormseeker is a strange dragon: noticeably stocker than a RainWing and lacking their characteristic frills, but far more elegant than a NightWing, and able to make colours flash across her dark scales. She is very conscious of the fact that she is a half-tribe, and spends most of her time alone, wandering Pyrrhia. Her den is well-hidden in the Claws of the Clouds mountains, near the scavenger den close to the border between the Mud and Rainforest Kingdoms. She wears a silver band on her left horn, set with obsidian, amethyst and amber taken from her hoard of gemstones and precious metals. She eats mostly fruit but will hunt when necessary with her venomous bite, although she cannot spray venom like a true RainWing. Her natural scale colour is a dark indigo-blue but she is able to emote with cold colours (green, blue, purple, etc), which has earned her the nickname Aurora.

Stormseeker was born to a NightWing father and a RainWing mother when said RainWing, captured for venom experiments, managed to escape with the help of a guard who she'd slowly been getting to know. She convinced him to return to the rainforest with her once she was free, but when she found out she was "in egg," the guard panicked and fled back to the NightWing island, where he was promptly executed for his betrayal. The RainWing hid her egg in a distant part of the rainforest and guarded it as much as she could until the egg hatched under a single full moon. Her mother abandoned Stormseeker soon after in favour of returning to a normal life among the RainWings, because even a peaceful tribe such as her own would likely reject a halfling dragonet.
