Glowworm

Glowworm’s name suits her well - like her namesake, she is skittish and shy, and hides away at the slightest prompting. She’s short and pretty chunky, even for a FlickerWing, which are usually half the size of SilkWings. Her tail and the spots along her side glow a beautiful aqua at will, which is used for communicating with other FlickerWings, but the glow cannot be turned on if she’s frightened or anxious. She keeps her wings folded as much as possible so as not to draw attention to the stained-glass-looking second pair, but her spots and tail cannot be hidden.

She lives in a cave system underneath the Pantalan plains, near Vinegaroon Hive and Beetle Lake, where she creates exquisite sculptures and jewellery using the light from her tail. Occasionally she journeys to the market to sell her creations, but keeps to herself at other times. The exact location of her cave is unknown.
