A strange gardener who has been living in The Workplace for an unknown amount of time. She's pretty funny, and she takes good care of the plants. Seems incredibly willing to help Cass with just about anything, and incredibly UNwilling to specify what that "anything" should be.

It's complicated. They get along great, in most ways! But Friday is also very annoying, and her true thoughts are very well-guarded. But she likes Cass. A lot. And she thinks the face Cass makes when she's irritated is really cute.
They met in middle school, and were best friends ever since. They liked to lay on top of each other in a pile. They could talk for hours on end. And they did!

They liked to argue and make fun of each other, which was fun until it wasn't. But they always made up in the end, even if only for Mel's sake. Usually. It didn't work forever.

They weren't very close, as they weren't around at the same time for too long, but they had a similar sense of humor, and a similar affinity for the strange and macabre.
