About: Twin brother of Henry, the two brothers spent most of their childhood locked up in a laboratory after the death of their father before escaping from the lab that experimented on them for most of their youth at the age of 15. The trauma of his childhood affected Silas in a very specific way, of all of the subjects Silas was seen as their star subject, their most well behaved and successful experiment. This all got to his head quite a lot leaving him torn between idolizing the scientists that hurt him so much growing while also desperate for power he didn't feel like he didn't have as a child. When his brother Henry and his newly found friends started to band together to build a rebellion against the current queen of Tian he went along simply for the hopes of grabbing the throne for himself and when Rhyme ended up being the one to end up as king Silas was sent into a jealous rage, seeing Rhyme as taking what he deserved. Silas has spent the past 15 years in a spite-filled plan to take down Rhyme. In public he acts as an intelligent and respectable scientist running a rebellion to take down the country's corrupt king and taking in orphaned children, while in reality he's an unhinged mad scientist replicating the messed up experiments he experienced himself in his youth using the children he takes in as soldiers.
