Piqati is a young man springing with unbound energy, with an unending quest to make friends. Teetering on the line between spirit world and the living world, normal high school life and angakkuq duties, dreams and lucidity, Piqati learns to navigate his tough situations with a smile on his face. Though, perhaps that smile is a little too strained, and his eyes a little too intense...

Piqati is an extremely sociable person, walking up to any person and declaring them as his friend. While this is endearing to the people of Ittuatuq, who are used to both his personality and the strange happenings of their hamlet, Piqati comes off as incredibly pushy and off putting in his pursuit for friendship in Rupert High School. Underneath the never ending cheery facade, however, lies a deep drive for violence unbeknownst to many people. Though of course, Piqati is just as cheery and fun when he slaughters spirits as he is when he listens to Katy Perry's hit album, Teenage Dream (2010).

- In the living world, Piqati's kakiniit are limited to the corner of his lips, his forearms, and fingers. They are a basic black ink.
- In the spirit world/dreamscape his kakiniit expand into his nose, his cheeks, his chin, and up into the entirety of his arms. They glow a light blue-white colour.

sister mentorpiqati's older sibling, though she's a sister most of the time. kukik may seem a little cold and stoic to most people, but piqati manages to get on her nerves enough, as a little brother does. she mentors him as head angakkuq, and helps him control his powers. he genuinely looks up to her and her strength, but he wouldn't admit that.
yumeji
lover dream creationcreated by piqati in his dreamscape, yumeji is the adorable boy of his dreams, no pun intended. gaining sentience by being in such close proximity of spirits and their silla, yumeji has slowly begun gaining sentience. enough sentience for him to fall in love with piqati. piqati struggled with his internal issues before coming to realize he, too, loves yumeji. he adores him completely, even with his even more violent tendencies.
atticus
friend highschool bestiepiqati's first white city friend. he loves how scrawny and constantly terrified he looks, and generally enjoys messing with him. you know, like how friends do! he genuinely believes atticus sees him the same way.
igsi
rival #1 haterever since igsi's arrival in ittuatuq, piqati has made himself a rival of the other angakkuq. finding him obnoxious and dangerous, piqati dislikes igsi's attitude and finds his and lawrence's time in his hamlet bothersome. of course, that doesn't mean he hates igsi. piqati doesn't wish him... too much harm.
airaq
puppy crush aquaintanceit comes as very little surprise that piqati's second ever boy crush was airaq, ittuatuq's hottest darling. of course, what with piqati being a child, nothing could ever come from his childhood infatuation. though, sometimes piqati will still get a little flustered when airaq compliments him on his hard work.
