Backstory
Created and partly raised in a lab, Kaine is really tense around doctors and labs. He is dangerous as a soldier. He escaped when a couple of other "patients" broke out. It was thanks to Kyle and Austin that he was able to leave, and he follows them for a while by accident (he goes off on his own but keeps seeing them going the same way, as if they all had some weird instinct to go to certain places). Eventually, they do become a trio, but Austin is far too scared of Kaine to get close. All he sees is a potential victim of Austin's own slipping sanity, or a potential new fighter that could hurt Kyle (is not concerned with himself, just Kyle).
