Kaine (Written stories)

"Kain and Kyle as Kids" (April 6, 2018)

The newest boy on the playground was smaller than Kaine. His pale blue  shirt almost dragged on the ground as he skirted past the kickball area,  red eyes darting around in fear. What caught Kaine's eye wasn't his  shyness, but the giant plushie that covered most of his face. The  plushie to an adult was likely not that big, but to Kaine and the boy,  it seemed huge.

Kaine made his way to the newcomer, careful not to scare him. "What's that?" He pointed to the plushie.

"My hwartless."

Kaine gave a toothy - with one tooth missing - grin. "Hwartless? I love hwartless! From Kindum Hwarts, right?"

The  boy's eyes widened, and he gave a big nod that turned into a lot of  smaller, quicker nods. The other kid held out his hand. "I'm Kaine!"

"Kyle."  Kyle held the Heartless's arm out so he could shake Kaine's hand with  the plushie. "It's a pleasuwe to meet ya, Kyle!" The smaller boy held  the Heartless a little lower and revealed a tiny smile that the two kids  soon shared.
