Jove is a hardworking student who lives with and takes care of his mother, Rhea, in a small cabin outside of town. They moved around quite a bit as he was growing up but they have settled in a small town in Oregon where his grandfather lives. They both work at a Bakery owned by Jove's grandfather and live a relatively quiet and normal life.
Jove has many hobbies, including photography and baking, but most intriguing is his interest in unsolved crime- which leads him to learn of his favorite private investigator, Jean Pierre Polnareff.
His story begins while looking into local unsolved crime cases in the general area and finding a unique connection. When he goes to local police they brush him off and call him a hobbyist. Frustrated, he begins to look into it further by himself which spirals him into a load of trouble.

Jove's Stand, like his mothers, has no form. His Stand's ability is to, with an object of large emotion, be able to turn back time to the origin on the memory. This of course comes with many consequences and Jove chooses to not use it whatsoever.
Jove is a tall, lanky kid who is a busy-body. While he chooses to not play sports, he is constantly walking all over town for errands and taking photos.
Backstory
Growing up was strange for Jove. He had no father figure and it was always just him and his mom. They moved around a lot and that made it difficult to make friends, which makes Jove a bit awkward today. Jove did a lot of homeschooling- which was more like self-teaching but occasionally went to schools in certain states/countries.
His Stand awakened, quietly, as a child. The day it awakened he saved a young girl from an accident only for her to die brutally the next day. Every time he uses his Stand something similar happens. He has never told anyone about it. It caused him to grow up quickly as he's seen many possible futures and the consequences of changing the past.
When Jove began high school, the two finally settled in their current town. They took jobs at his grandfather's bakery to help him out. Rhea however has another job which makes her leave for weeks at a time so Jove became the main caretaker of their cabin home. He learned to cook and clean and loves the simple work of domestication.

Having only each other, Jove grew up quickly and has always helped his mother with household duties. The older he got the more he realized how naïve and easily taken advantage of his mother is so he began to get overly protective of her. Despite the lonely nature of constantly moving, the two were very tight and have a loving relationship.

Distant Grandfather
Growing up with not a lot of constants in his life, Jove and his mother often visited his grandfather. He is a cold, distant man but he taught Jove the art of cooking and baking. While difficult to open up to, Jove always loved his grandfather regardless and the two get along well. They listen to classic piano songs together while working in the bakery.

Admiration from afar
Unknowing of the previous relationship between Polnareff and his mother, Jove found Pol from internet articles on successful private detectives and instantly admired him. He made it his goal to also solve crime and always keep up to date with the latest mysteries. Pol is the first person Jove attempts calls when he gets turned down by local police stations.
