The One Who Failed to See the Truth
"Look at what you did to him. You expect me to be happy you turn my brother into..this?"
Amirah and Ashur Hawthorne were a couple that craved perfection. This perfection can be shown through how Atraena used to be. Their knights were perfect. The attitude of their people were perfect. Perfection was knew to ensure that this kingdom continued growing in their eyes. One day, they would have a son. This child was not something that they planned for. However, they pushed their desire for perfection aside as they realized they could use this child to build a perfect family. This child would be Enzo. Enzo was born into a life where his parents built a system to ensure that he would become a perfect king. They had already thought about stepping down once a certain amount of time past and decided to plan ahead. As such, Enzo's life was all sorted up until it was time for him to be king. Enzo wasn't bothered by this...mostly he didn't realize just how horrible his parents were.
It was something he would realized the moment his brother was born. At first, he picked up on the small things such as how they seemed so loose with how they cared for him. Then he noticed how they treated his brother more like...a creature, which unsettle him when he noticed his brother was getting gradually more sickly. It would be when the Hawthorne incident that Enzo would find the truth. The truth was that his brother was being used as a experiment to forcibly try to change one's branch and strengthen one's connection to their beast half. However, he wasn't the only one. There were other Bestias who dealt with the same fate and even some humans. These beings would break out and cause the death of several members. Thankfully, they were stopped but Enzo was forced to live with the knowledge that his parents caused this.....and had escaped being charged.
Broken by what occured, Enzo sits on the throne that his parents once sat on and spent time rebuildng Hawthorne. He tore away the perfection his parents made and spent as much as time as he can, fixing the damage his parents caused. He did all of this while his brother remains hidden from sight. The experiments had left him sickly and altered his appearance to the point he feels disgusted in others seeing him. Enzo is trying his best to get his brother the medicine he needs while working with Tomo to help his brother get better.
