Born in the warm province of the Azeth Kingdom, Valeria was born as the youngest child of the Martínez family. The Martínez were not of royalty and were known for their servitude to the previous rulers. Valeria was no different and spent most of her time training in Rikras Knight Academy. It was there she would rise high in ranks before she eventually join a group of females that would later become the current queens of the kingdom. Together, they would form Blackfang Brigade. With Cassandra serving as their leader and the current commandant of Ferox and Val as the co.leader, the group would make a name for themselves.
Through her time with them, Val would discover her gender as a woman and slowly grow to accept that with the help of the Blackfang as well as her eventual partner, Leonardo. Val had fallen in love with Leonardo the moment she stumbled upon his guild and grew closer to him as they shared their struggles of being trans. Soon, they would get married and Val would be gifted the opporunity to take over for the king of Azeth due to his lack of heirs. Val would take this role with grace and continue to rule over Azeth decades later alongside Leon.
While she may have overcome many things, she still carries the guilt of her people causing the death of Azeawane King and Queen. With Azeawane Queen being once a member of the Blackfang, it's no surprise that this haunts. While Azeawane's son has informed her that she has no need to apologize for something that was outside of her control, she still holds on to that pain so many years later. She will never forgive herself for what happened.
