The One With Secret Pains
"It wasn't my plan to be in this position...but it's my duty to go along with it."
When you hear of the Kazama Family, you often associate the family to the famous mages of the continent whether than the Royal Family that runs Shogica. The Kazama Family wasn't quite to the level of the Blackwell family when it comes to stapled names in royalty. In fact, it wasn't until a good century that was the case. The Kazamas were more tied to higher class mages. When it comes to all things magic, they are the ones you tend to go to for that. As such, it's no surprise that Tomo had a lot of expectation on her the moment she was born into the family. With her uncle being the ruler around the time she was born, Tomo spent most of her time studying in Spiritwall Mage Academy. She was a prodidy that would later be invited into the Blackfang as a member due to her skills. It was through the Blackfang that she gained...a personality in a way.
You see Tomo never really cared to socialize with anyone and not one really sought to see her true self. Tomo never bothered to show them since she didn't see the need to and frankly she didn't know who she craved to be. It was through Blackfang she gained the confidence to establish who she was while making friends with each member. It was this friendship that kept her going in life. However, over time, each memeber would leave to take over as respective rulers and Tomo would end up doing the same. However, the way she became ruler was a tad...jarring. You see her uncle was revealed to be involved in shady dealings that involved the experimentation of Bestias. With this knowledge, he and those who knew of this had to be removed. However, due to her uncle lacked of heirs and how complex her family was, she would be offered the position of queen. Though...Tomo would argue it was more forced on her.
Being queen...wasn't neccesarily what Tomo wanted to be. Yes, it scratched her desire to work. However, she now had a whole kingdom to worry about now. However, she kept her head up and kept pushing forward through the help of the Blackfang. However, there are still days where she quesion if it's worth being the queen. Thankfully, she found ways to escape those thoughts due to one day adopting Eiko from a orphanage she often visit. With her love for kids, it fueled her to do what she can to ensure that Eiko was happy and make the kingdom a better place for him.
