Hiroto Chuh's Links
Hiroto sees Victor as one of his best buddies. They're someone that this lizard will go to with just about anything, finding great comfort and safety in the fellow drummer's presence. He greatly enjoys spending time with Vic, whether that be climbing or hiking- or even just sitting around doing nothing together, Hiro always describes their time together as a positive. He appreciates that the guy seems to want to look out for him- despite his insisting that it isn't necessary and he can handle himself just fine.
Victor sees Hiroto as a fellow drummer that he respects and admires, though he secretly despairs Hiroto's lack of caution and safety. He often takes Hiroto with them while climbing and hiking around the region to keep an eye on him, but also because he wants some company. Sometimes they sneak away to smoke between shows and festivals and simply talk about life together.
Despite their squabbling, Hiroto is quite fond of Goncalo. He thinks they're a lot of fun and enjoys "fighting" them on occassion. Of course, they both have softer moments too. Not many people are aware of said softer moments, as most just- see the bickering and bullying in chat, but- honest, these two care about each other-
He’s an emo ass nerd that deserves to get teased relentlessly. He also deserves so much stuff. Yes, both can exist for me. Used to be I only knew about Tutu because of his music, ended up being close friends with him! Tabs has noticed that it’s like I just gained a sibling and… y’know I won’t fight against that claim. I tease to make sure he’s got more than one emotion, same as me bringing grass and trinkets to him during his shutaway days. he isn’t allowed to be THAT emo.
While he still picks on Tabi, it's not NEARLY as bad as it is with Goncalo. Hiroto sees Tabi as someone who's "relentlessly positive", and honestly kind of admires the guy for it. He loves to hang out with the gecko, usually ending up chilling out a fair bit by the time he has to head off to go do something else. He appreciates that Tabi and him can still chat without getting LOUD
Sometimes even the drummer needs a minute to quiet down.
I care about him a whole lot ! I thought he was really interesting when he was in chat , now I know Hiro could probably kick me to Ono ( affectionate) . He ‘ s just trying his best , and his band ‘ s music is so nice too ! As much as I care about him , I think Gonny cares tenfold . . . Which is so nice to see . I would do whatever I could to help Hiro if he needed it .
Mich is one of Hiro's friends! She can be quite the positive influence on the chaotic lizard. He enjoys spending time with her, whether they're just chatting or Mich is having him model something for her, Hiroto is always down to spend time with her. Recently, he's begun helping Michelle learn how to keep herself safe, while simultaneously trying to get her out of the house more. It works great for the both of them, Hiro gets to spend some of his surplus of energy, be of use, AND hang out with somebody he vibes with! Win-win-win in his eyes!!
Michie is very proud of her little brother figure, even if she's busy a lot. However, to combat that, she likes to spend time with him even if it's just them doing their self defense classes, or hanging out at their favorite little restaurants together.
She also has been drinking less energy drinks and has been making sure whenever he does come over, there won't be any in sight for him to yoink. However, she's been stocking on a bunch more tea and other caffeinated based drinks for herself. She's proud of the lil guy okay.
She's been getting more absorbed into her work again, so she's been a bit hard to reach recently.
Man is he glad he never fully let go of his gut feeling about this guy. The others don't know, Hiro doesn't think so at least, but Ger'Ar never had any sincere intentions with them. He's just told them to steer clear for now. He can't avoid him entirely because of his job, and seeing him around so often lately has been... Complicated, to say the least. He doesn't really trust this version of Vylko, either.
Hiroto has for the most part been a "sure, I guess" for Ger'Ar. Though he does find some annoyance in how damn observant the little guy is. Most people can't see through his disguises, but apparently the drummer has more to him than meets the eye too.
After his first run-in with Dani during that big bar fight involving the IB, he was certain they were someone that he wanted to get to know better. He thought Dani was overall pretty interesting for the OBVIOUS reasons of having so many cool augments and kicking ass, but also due to their rather kind act of helping calm the lizard when he started to freak out while in jail with 'em. While he certainly didn't think he'd end up being such a good friend of Dani's, he has absolutely ZERO issues with that fact. He greatly enjoys spending time with her, and honestly values her input on situations quite highly. The inventor is *safe* for the lizard, he knows he can be mostly honest with them without much worry, and is thrilled to have a buddy like her.
On chat they saw that the fella was Victor's bff, so they knew that eventually they would at least have a little chat. At first they just thought the style of the guy was super cool and really liked his overall aesthetic. Dani would have never expected that they would end up being so close to the lizard, yet they did, after going through some rough times together and hanging out several times. Hiroto's enthusiasm and energy bring her so much joy, and she's glad she is able to talk with them in all types of ways, even in a more serious manner. In general, Dani just thinks Hiroto is a really sweet pal. The vibes are just comfy,,,, and being sometimes a bit protective over the guy. Yeah, the general big sibling / aunt vibes are pretty much there here.
Rotui has quickly become a good friend of the drummer. They don't see eye to eye on everything (literally and figuratively), but Hiro enjoys the shark's company regardless. He finds he's a GREAT buddy to not only bar-hop with, but just hang around too! He enjoys coming over to Tui's house and just chatting with or at the guy, sometimes doin silly goofy stuff like talking about hypothetical LEAs or arguing about popsicle sticks. All in all, Hiro finds he always has a good time when he's with the "Wavecrusher", and he hopes that Rotui feels the same about their time together.
Rotui likes that Hiroto can carry the conversation. It's a wonderful change of pace for the shark that he can just sit back , relax, and just listen for a change rather than be involved in a conversation he needs to use his entire brain to think about. Hiroto makes Tui feel like he's living in a world without a death timer, and that's enough for him.
Hiroto has an unlikely friendship with Mo! Figuring out that the mask is what was causing him pain, the two can now *safely* spend time together without it. Hiro, when able, will make the trek out to Mo's cabin with bits and bobs from the city- usually just to see what Mo makes of them, but also to try and get him back up to speed. It's.. A bit hard, as proven by the troubles with the 'funny box', but he does his best to be patient as Mo figures out such foreign concepts. Like gum. And Doritos.
Hiro always thought Heigo seemed pretty cool from seeing him in the chats, but only got to meet him when Tabi and Goncalo got married! They got along WONDERFULLY right off the bat, and now Hiroto considers Heigo a friend of theirs!!
Hiroto! Heigo absolutely LOVES them, platonically of course. Their bubbly and ever so slightly chaotic nature just went perfectly with theirs; and while they didn't know eachother that well from the chats, the moment they met at the wedding of Tabi and Goncalo, they immediately went :D!! and got along with them just swimmingly. New bestie alert!
Hiro adores Clover. There's no word better for it. Clover taught Hiroto most if not ALL of what he knows now, and while he doesn't fully understand their constant concern for him, he greatly appreciates that they always seem to be keeping an eye out for him. However, now knowing why he and the doctor even met in the first place, he tends to have a bittersweet feeling thinking about their relationship, but despite this he still enjoys being around them. They're an incredibly comforting presence for him, and might just be the main reason he can't sleep without something fluffy nearby.
Hiroto is very very dear to Clover. They've known the 'young lad' for as long as he's been with the Aokis, and honestly are one of the only reasons the little guy is still around. They were the only one capable of helping, and so despite the grief of the situation, immediately took on the responsibility of not only tending to the scars, but the plethora of other issues the lizard suffered as a result. Even knowing what he's done, they've been able to look past it the same as the rest of the Estate, and now care for him as though he were their own. And in a way, he is.
While these two are chill now, Hiroto.. Definitely had some confusing and conflicting feelings about AJ for a little while. Some sort of miscommunication somewhere along the line mixed with Ean artifact bullshittery landed him in a roommate/partner situation with her. Since he never brought her to the Aoki estate, it took longer than it maybe should have for him to realize that she was under the influence of an artifact. It's all good now though! He got her out!! And now that he actually knows a little about her, he'd be happy to consider her a friend in the future.
AJ has few to no memory of her eight months with Hiroto, thinking that their whole interaction was over a few days. Still, she's incredibly appreciative of the lizard, after all, had it not been for him, she would never have gotten out of that fucking apron.
Hiroto's pretty fond of Orochi! Hard not to be when he's one of the only people the little guy can remember without any trouble. While they may not interact super often, the times that they do are usually... A little chaotic. Mostly due to Hiro's never-ending energy and strange lack of fear regarding him. However he does feel incredibly guilty for what he caused, and since (re)discovering that has begun to tone it down. As off-the-walls energetic as he is, he does have a great amount of respect for Orochi. He just wishes he could convey that a bit better.
The kid is a special case within the family. Though he doesn't resent him for his actions anymore, Orochi is still distant emotionally to Hiroto. The kid is young and an easy target, therefore he simply tasks him to keep company of his only son. When Kouta is not around he allows Hiroto in his headquarters with the sole reason of keeping him safe from the gruesome aspects of the family. Theres a innocence in him that the rest of the family doesn't have. He wishes to keep that alive.
These two met when Hiro dropped by Michelle's place one day while they were there! While he's not as buddy-buddy with Bruno as he is with Pandem, he's still comfortable around them and will happily sit and chat or perhaps play games if they were to ask. He's happy to chill with the twins whenever he's got a spare minute.
The twins met Hiro when he came over to Michelle’s place. Pan made quick friends with him, and as a result Bruno has befriended Hiro as well. Bruno is definitely not as close to Hiro as Pan is, but still enjoys hanging out and chatting with the two when they fall on a topic he shares interest in.
Good luck getting these two to stop talking. With the both of them being chatterboxes, it's difficult to get a word in if they're in the middle of a conversation they're both excited about. Even worse if they're talking about the dogs- might as well just settle in for a while then.
Pan and Hiro met one day at Michelle’s place and immediately hit it off. These two share the same energy and feed off of each other in an endless loop. If these two are in the same room together you can bet that they’re busy chatting away about one thing or another. Often times they need to be intercepted to keep them from going on all night long.
Yoshirou is somebody that Hiro enjoys spending time with. Like a lot. Whether it's gaming, talking about music, practicing said music, or something like wrestling if Hiroto's feeling brave, he always has fun when Yoshirou is around. Although Yoshi's right- Hiro can be quite dense in many aspects. There was quite the stretch of time where the lizard believed *he* was the scary one of the group...
They met because Yoshirou is the bodyguard that is in charge of Kouta. Thanks to their similar age they managed to bond properly as friends. Yoshirou is extremely unaware of Hirotos play in the loss of Mrs Aoki. So he holds no feelings about it. Though, he may describe the metalhead as a bit dense sometimes.
This is Hiroto's best friend. Kouta is who Hiro goes to with everything before anyone else. He will ALWAYS drop whatever it is he's doing to come see them if they call. Although there was a brief period where he worried they weren't as close as he'd thought previously, mainly due to being told he had a hand in the incident that took Kouta's mother from them, he's since come to terms with it all and understands that Kouta doesn't hold anything against him. While he doesn't understand why, he is still very grateful for the grace he's been given, and feels closer than ever to Kouta. He'll always be there to back them up, on or off the stage.
At first Kouta was very distant of this stranger that ended up in his house. Because of many factors in there, he was bound to stray away from even interacting at all. Thanks to Clove Kouta was able to form a strong friendship with Hiroto over the years, really getting over his grudge about the incident that took his mother away. Because of Factors, the heir is not good at expressing his feelings appropriately and accidentally comes across as stoic.
Surprisingly enough, Hiroto knew of Tatani before the chats! Nothing major, he never talked to him *personally,* but rather would leave comments on some of the videos Tatani would post of him attempting to do some sick tricks. Attempt being the keyword- Hiro always meant well with his posts, trying to give advice where he could in hopes that Tatani would be able to properly land the tricks someday.
Tatani always looks for Hiroto's comments on his amazingly awesome stunt videos he posts. The enthusiastic comments and helpful tips make Tatani's self esteem skyrocket as he thinks of them as proof that he is on his path to becoming a master of weaponry and fighting!! He thinks Hiro seems like a really cool dude and would love to chill with him one day!
Having tuned in to one of her radio shows on complete accident, it didn't take long for Hiroto to become HOOKED on Billie's energetic coverage of the moon races!! While he isn't too invested in the sport itself, her way of relaying the information is what keeps him coming back time and time again. Their brief meeting in one of the many malls of Alphea was quite the treat, too, as Hiro discovered that they get along quite well! He hopes to run into her more often in the near future.
Hiroto always has a blast talking to Shan. Whether on the phone or in person, it always seems like they have something to talk about... Or rather, Hiro does. There's a comfortability between the two that he has a hard time finding elsewhere, one where he can ramble on as much as he likes and he never feels as though he's bothering the tattoo artist. It's entirely possible that their similar pasts, or what they remember of them, bring that comfort. For Hiro, at least, he finds solace in the fact that there's someone else that kind of gets it.
Very close friends and gossip buddies, the tattoo artist tries her best to keep in touch with the metalhead. Long and tiring days of work truly pay off when Hiroto is on the phone rambling about whatever obsession they decided to latch into. One day Shan wishes to finally be able to put some ink on him.
He first really knew of Manami through Rotui, back when the surfer was trying to get him off those damn energy drinks. One of the mixes that Nami whipped up was being used as the substitute, and honestly- he's still drinking it. Aside from that, however, he thinks Nami is great company when Tui and Lea get into one of their long arguments about- something. Anything. He likes to make little bets with her (in food) about who will win. He always bets on Tui, even if he's on a losing streak.
While Manami at first pitied Hiroto, during their energy drink dependency, she sees him as a close friend now, almost like a pseudo-sibling, sees as him and Rotui live together. She enjoys her time off crashing at their place, showing Hiroto new ocean-walker sweets and new drink recipes.
Hiro thinks Lea is incredibly fucking cool, in his own words. There's something about a hovering robot that actually, properly thinks that he is just enamored with. He enjoys playing music with and for Lea, as well as videogames and taking part in some occasional shenanigans. He now has the "little lady" on speed-dial for when he gets locked out of the appliances due to her and Tui's debates. After her transformation, Hiro was over the MOON about it. Once he actually saw her, he was just in awe. His little robo-buddy, given physical form via the cosmos. "That's fucking SICK, dude!" is what he'd tell just about anybody else about it. Other than the hype at Lea now being more than just a little bunny bot, Hiro quickly took to trying to help her with her mobility- especially with her hands. Teaching her secret handshakes, games, and maybe even a bit of drumming to help her get used to touching and holding things. He thinks she's done pretty damn well with it, too.
Lea absolutely loves hanging with Hiroto. Having someone to talk with about music, and the vareity of video games is oh so very beloved to her. Learning how to un child-lock the fridge for Hiro in 3 seconds flat is one of her best feats yet in her opinion. After her contract transformation, she did send him a "i LIVED B*TCH" text.
Running into the actor- somewhere, Hiroto didn't even realize Conan was THE Conan Price until much, MUCH later in their friendship. To be fair, Conan didn't recognize him as the drummer of Death Peak for a good while, either. Maybe it was the missing face paint...? Regardless, the two still spend time together when their schedules allow, and Hiro is always doing his best to crack jokes and get a genuine smile from the movie star. He likes to think he's pretty good at it, too, as most of the time him and the feline end up laughing together over something that was said. Their hangouts are something that often puts a spring back in Hiro's step.
