Autumn Royalty of one of four long running related houses that have recently developed what would be best described as a bit of a run-away problem.

At least she's knows they're safe...
Opted, against her better judgement, to become the primary investor for Cirque Du Merveille when it was discovered that's where most of the Card Houses heirs and younger family members were running off to. Better to fund them and be able to keep a close eye on them than alienate them into hiding she figures.

Formality, and politeness is important to Acardia. She doesn't really understand why the Cirque is appealing - both to her estranged family members as employees and to the people who go to even see the Cirque perform. It also seems like a dreadful dirty affair when you could just stay in the city and watch the sun set.

“It takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!”
Most of Acardia's day to day is simply keeping the peace. She knows how exhausting that is. She knows how much time and energy it takes to keep things exactly as they are. To fight the inevitable entropy of the world. She also knows when it's best to give up the fight so as to lose only a little to the change instead of everything.
