Wendel Emmerich

A timid yet focused trauma surgeon that maintains and develops for MSX2 (and above) machines with Metal Gear potential when not busy with work, Wendel can be a bit much at first. Upon getting closer to him and knowing more about him, he's really just a calm individual who tends to come off as being shy sometimes. After having helped one of his patients back to (almost) full health after a severe accident they’d been in, they’ve both been close friends since that day.

While he can be a bit timid at times, he tends to be in a calm and determined mindset majority of the time and does his best to remain polite to those he ends up with, even if he doesn't get treated the same way back. That, and his focus on maintaining MSX2/+ machines means he's more confident with working with them. However, Wendel's bad habit of not sleeping much, as well as losing track of time most of the time, means it comes back to bite him often due to his busy schedule and as a result is tired often... Also, he seems to like seals? Given he's always swooning over whatever video he comes across of the animals in his spare time.

As for the Metal Gears he maintains and develops firmware for, he himself is one as well! Usually referred to as Medi-Gear S28 when he's transformed during work hours, it's a medical-grade Metal Gear used for quick transportation and to carry around equipment needed in compartments on his body, and in some cases, to entertain patients staying in hospital whenever he goes around to check on them occasionally. Because of his past experiences with David Harris and how he met him, both of them are on good terms with each other, even if Wendel tends to tease David for being tinier than he would be in his Metal Gear form (and his own form as well) during his check-ups.

And he's probably almost ate a floppy disk on accident. No, he's not going to elaborate how or why if you tried to ask him about it.
