At this point, being a ghost is a personality trait for her. Other traits could include crabbiness, bitterness, and all around exhaustion.
As mentioned, Adara is a ghost. She died in 2014 when an old ex of hers stabbed her in the neck. She was only 25 at the time, and she was a bright, promising, and entitled young linguist. Upon her death, all of that was taken from her. The Keeper Of Fate bound her to a dollar store necklace that would force her to haunt whoever found it. Through The Keeper Of Fate, a young deer named Hudson found the necklace.
She immediately hated him, because he had the gift of life, and he wasted it. Eventually, the hate grew to mere dislike, and then to some cheap imitation of friendship. She attempts to live her life through him under the guise of advice, but he rarely follows it.
Hudson
Hudson is the guy that found the necklace. She feels very bitter towards him, as he easily could have lived his life if he had only studied, like she had. Instead, he let his life become a disaster, instead of treating it like the gift that she only recently realized it was.
