The Static Wolves

Besides Blue and Yellow, you may also see various other static wolves here. I have doodled them in several colours and since I enjoy this universe so much I like to include them here too even if they aren't developed ocs like Y+B. 

About Yellow and Blue

Yellow and Blue are the main static wolves I draw. Named after their respective fur colours, these two are siblings who notoriously hate each other. 

Yellow is a friend of Deploy and Oswald. They smell of TV static and old stale air. They fear humans and avoid them at all costs. They live in an abandoned shack, and hang out with Skooter. Yellow is protective of Skooter, seeming to think Skooter is their pup. 

Blue is an aloof and aggressive creature. They fight Yellow any time they cross paths, and while they share the avoidance of humans with their sibling, Blue is known to attack humans if they do meet any. Blue lives in a distant marsh area far from the closest small town. They live in a burrow dug into a hill, which makes them smell of moss and mud as well as static. He is known to lash out and harrasses Oswald any time the two cross paths. Blue has also encountered Alfie, and the two fought. 

Species Info

Static wolves emit a static electricity sound and most wolves fur smells of old tv static. Individuals may have additional scents, they may also have a unique cadence or tone to how their static is used to communicate that differentiates them from other. The fur also feels like old TV static. They interfere with technology and some machinery if they get close, making it incredibly hard to run studies or tests on them. They are rarely seen by humans as it is, seeming to be shy creatures. The static sounds grow stronger the more agitated a wolf becomes, and can block out all outside noise when filling your head with static. 

These creatures glow in the dark, making their sightings at night particularly ethereal. Few people have ever seen this thought. They are thought to have been created when some wolves entered the rift, but this has never been confirmed and is mostly just human speculation.
