Perhaps the best place to start Peter's history origin story is to first explain that his parents were part of a scientific experiment which was being conducted by a research group for Miracle Corp.* whose aim was to find a cure for a disease that is most commonly known as Lacus-15 through the use of gene therapy as the disease seemed to be targetting certain individuals.

This gene therapy resulted in certain genes being passed on to Peter. These genes were completely harmless and lay dormant for years. He lived a completely happy and normal life until he was fourteen and was left orphaned when his parents died in a car crash. Without having any other family to take him in, Peter was put into foster care.

School was rough for him, but not completely unbearable. His high intellect certainly helped to make sure that his grades never slipped too low. For the most part, life carried on pretty normally until when he was 15 years old and his school went on a field trip to a place called Microlutions where he came into contact with a level of radiation which, while safe, caused the genes which lay dormant in him to activate. Though he certainly didn't realize that until he went back to his foster home and in his rush to get to his bedroom, tripped and fell...right into another universe.

This was a shocking turn of events for Peter as he had fully expected to feel the pain of landing flat on his face on hardwood, but instead landing on grass. When he got past the confusion, he decided to try to find out where the heck he was. It seemed like he was still in Queens, New York, but for some reason everything seemed...different. He couldn't quite put his paw on what it was, but it left him quite disoriented. Though not as disoriented as he was when he finally saw himself in a bathroom mirror at a truck stop and saw that the marking on his forehead had suddenly changed into what looked like the Spider-Man emblem.

Strange as this was, he didn't suspect that this change in his marking had resulted in any other changes...until he tried to open the door and found his paws sticking to the handle. Spider-Man Collar [ Sentimental ]
Peter's Spider-Man collar is one of his most treasured Christmas gifts that he got from his biological parents. He wears it every single day without fail and pretty much only ever takes it off in order to wash it whenever it happens to get dirty.
