He's not the most well-known nor liked cat in his clan, but he doesn't seem to mind; he even might say he prefers being alone, and has only a handful of cats close to him because of this. Crabwave is dedicatedly loyal to his clan, however unpopular the tom may be, and will be seen most of the time out hunting or doing tasks like picking herbs with the medics or cleaning the ticks off the elders (with the occasional patrols). However, he's an absolutely horrible fighter, and honestly a little scared of it too-- he's heard too many stories of great wars that plagued the clans before his time to not be. Because of this, he tends to not be as involved with fights as an average warrior might be, and can be seen often simply hanging back at border totems in case he would need to call for backup.. or maybe it's just his excuse to stay out of scuffles.
A curious and explorative cat, Crabwave used to wander the territories in his early years out of ignorance for his responsibilites before eventually settling down to be 'truly' loyal and hardworking for his clan. However, he's a lot more friendly and polite than one might suspect, and are welcome to new ideas and new cats.. most of the time. He's also very energetic, and can be easily distracted from his task at hand with little to no effort at all. As a warrior, he has been working to try and find ways to combat this, though, and will most of the time attempt to refocus back on what he was doing. He's also a very honest and trusting cat-- even to those who one may question if it would be right to trust them at all. Alongside this, he is very hesitant and will often back down from hostile situations; especially when it comes to battles or fights, and will usually flee the scene right after. Despite this, he tries to make it up to everyone he can in whatever way is possible.

Crabwave was originally born to two loners, Dune (who would later become dunecrest) and Tango. a few moons into their family's happy life, Tango takes him and his siblings away from Dune to live at a Twolegplace near the clans (explanation for this tba). Dune eventually finds them, but is too late-- Tango and Crab's siblings had been killed in a dog attack, and Crab, scared and left to fend for himself, ran off before Dune could find him which led __clan to taking him in and naming him Crabkit.
KITHOOD
Before the dog attack, his life was mostly peaceful; he simply just played with his siblings and lived a happy life with them and their parents. Once the dog attack had happened, however things had changed-- the clans were wary of him and the fact he was an outsider, and the other kits were the first to make this very well-known to him. Lonely and outcasted, Crabkit started to sneak out of camp every now and again to explore and see new things-- he loved the rivers, the fish that swam past him inside them, and the flowers! They smelled funny, and looked super pretty. However, each time would have him end up in more and more trouble as time went on, but it didn't seem to bother him, even if his apprenticeship had been delayed a few moons to try and keep him in camp.
WARRIORHOOD
When Crabkit had become an apprentice, his out-of-camp visits only became more frequent, much to the dismay of his mentor and those around him, causing him to miss important events such as training sessions and even important battles for his clan. As he went further and further into his apprenticehood, his outside visits slowed to a much heavier stop, leaving him to finally start being responsible for his clans in the last moons of his apprenticeship. Realizing the full extent his habits had left on his reputation, he started working harder to prove himself-- to try and show the others that he was changing, and that he could change and be a good warrior like the rest of them! After constant moons of hardwork, he eventually started to be respected again, and was given his warrior name: Crabwave. REST TBA CAUSE THIS IS PRE-GEN 3 BACKSTORY STUFF

Crabwave is an orange-and-white tabby turkish angora with teal-blue eyes. He has one folded ear, and one tooth poking out from over his jaw. (check gallery for ref sheet!!!!)
Seperated from his father at an early age, he doesn't have much of a strong memory of him or his siblings, but he does remember that the tom loved and cared for himm, and that is all he wishes to remember.
Although also unknowingly seperated from her, he feels he has seen them around in the clans before... He tries not to think about what it could mean, and will usually focus on something else to distract him from the odd mystery.
