Adolescence

By the time he was 13 Dylex had figured out his standing in life and made a few friends in school and regularly did his chores of taking care of himself and his step sister Faith. Though he'd have regular arguments with his mother, one of which got him extremely upset and a Nepa took advantage of that. Dylex began growing horns in middle school, unsure what they were but unbothered he'd cover them with his hair.

One day after school in his 8th year one of his friends noticed his horns, as theyd gotten to a decent size over the years. He thought they were quite cool and he talked to him about them and stating "they're badass!! You should show them off!". The next day at school, Dylex wore his hair back and he was overwhelmed with attention and affections from his peers. After that he went home, found a razor and shaved around these new trophies that had given him attention he hadnt gotten from anyone before. He showed up to school the rest of the year with his hair in a bun and the sides of his head shaved around half an inch thick. Dylex became relatively popular after this, occasionally being invited out with friends and to parties.

During his 11th year in school Faith had moved in with her biological father, Dylex didnt take this well and became depressed and the Nepa he had met at 13 became more consistent and started sharing more features with him. He developed wings that would stay consistantly and give him an appearance more like a Inaripat. Nearing the end of his 12th year he started dating Kat, who he'd met in his 10th year. His wings started appearing less after they began dating. Later as he turned 18 he decided to move in with her and away from the loneliness of his mothers house.

Adulthood

Dylex strived with Kat, his Nepa had become an afterthought and almost completely stopped progressing Dylex's appearance. He loved her with his life and focused on planning his future with her. They'd enjoy going out to parties, local carnivals and their favorite thing to do was watch the stars at night. After getting a new job Kat became more distant from Dylex and he figured she just needed time to adjust. However, not long after his 20th birthday and before their anniversary one night Kat got home late from working, like she had been recently. This night she seemed stressed and angry, Dylex was concerned and attempted making her feel better. This didnt do what he hoped it would and Kat erupted, overly defensive. That night they broke up and Kat ended up sleeping elsewhere. Dylex waited at their home hoping for some kind of explanation for days and nights. She did'nt appear again after that night.

Dylex ended up communicating with an old friend 3 days after breaking up with Kat. this friend was Mason, a kind and reasonable guy who invited him the live with them if he needed support and thats what he ended up doing. Though this breakup threw Dylex in a downward spiral and his Nepa re-appeared, He is at the lowest hes been. This, however is where he meets Cory.

RELATIONSHIP W/ PARENTS: Dylex's dad, Rei left after his second birthday, negative feelings toward him though does not know much about him. Nixen, his mother has always been very distant and irresponsible with her children. Dylex hates her for her carelessness. His stepdad, Noah James is almost as distant but has attempted giving gifts and sympathizing. Dylex does not care about him.

RELATIONSHIP W/ OTHER: Faith is his step sister that lives with his step father, he cares about her but is distant and does not reach out, out of fear she may not like him anymore or has grown negative feelings toward him.
