Cherry

Cherry is an Inkling with a peculiar condition- after Mr. Grizz's schemes were stopped and Professor Citra opened the doors to her laboratory, Cherry was one of several Inklings and Octolings alike to walk through its doors and work as assistants for impressive pay and a great adrenaline rush (or whatever the equivalent chemical is for inklings). It was during one of these laboratory shifts against Citra's army of Fuzzified Salmonids that Cherry had their protective gear torn off in battle, and was exposed to Fuzzy Ooze- partially transforming them into a half-mammalian, half-inkling biological anomaly. The ordeal left them very confused and a little alarmed, but- after a brief period of time of being poked at by a fascinated Citra- it was determined that their condition was strange but harmless, and they left with no lasting issues. The furriness is just part of their look now.

Decent at turf war; VERY aggressive inkbrush user. Way too competitive and angry to play Tableturf. Their """squid""" form was heavily altered by fuzzification and can no longer fully submerge into ink, but compensates with an impressively fast quadrupedal run.
