Prof. Citra

Professor Citra is a very dedicated Inkling biologist with a burning passion for her work (and questionable ethics). Among other fields, she studies primarily the taxonomical history of her kind, and the effects of various materials on biological life. Originally from Inkopolis Square, she moved to Splatsville in pursuit of scientific progress, and when she stumbled across the entrance to Alterna, she didn't hesitate even for a moment to set up a laboratory within its depths. Her lab is now quite large and impressive, and incorporates pieces of the old Alterna ruins into its structure. It's here that she studies the fascinating marine life of Alterna and conducts her questionable experiments.

After the end of Splatoon 3's story mode, Professor Citra opens up her laboratory for "assistants" to participate in her studies- Salmonid Experiments, a higher difficulty variation of Salmon Run featuring a massive army of Sanitized and Fuzzified Salmonids- Citra's primary test subjects. It's her assistants' jobs to collect the mutated salmonids' equally-warped eggs for study. Her goal is to understand and document the effects of both sanitization and fuzzification on living beings, and study both the base materials and the produced eggs for any potential uses outside of a mutagenic application. Though she understands the poor ethics of subjecting salmonids to such transformation, she believes the massive leaps and bounds in scientific advancement that could be made outweigh the problematic nature of her experiments. Don't ask how she managed to accomplish fuzzifying salmonids; it took a lot of work.

She is partially responsible by proxy for Cherry's condition, though she insists it was entirely Cherry's mistake. Cherry more-or-less concedes that they were being a bit of a reckless dumbass at the time.

Doesn't do turf war; she's way too busy for games. If she DID do turf war, she'd probably be a Tenta Brella user.
