Profile

Name: Jerold Scott (real name: Bun-buns Simitious

Series: Bun-buns the Murderer

Age: 22

Gender: Male (he/him/himself)

Species: Rabbit

Likes: Knives, murder, hats, and Raza.

Dislikes: His birth name, people making fun of his name, and witnesses to his crimes.

Personality: When acting as Detective Jerold Scott, Scott is rather easygoing and charming, and appears to maintain a cool head in tense situations. However, as Bun-buns, he is much more irritable and violent, and dislikes the sound of anyone making fun of his name. After being mercilessly bullied by his siblings as a child, Scott lost his conscious and became a cold-hearted killer. The only thing that's ever brought joy to his life is his apprentice Raza, but that's not meant to last.

History: Born as the youngest of 84 rabbit children, Scott got no positive attention growing up and instead was bullied by his siblings. From a young age, he disliked his name "Bun-buns Simitious", and often went by the names "Jerold" and "Scott" instead. One day when he was 10 years old, Scott had become fed up with his older silbings' bullying, and ended up killing them all one by one. Only his sister Antjia, who was the second youngest, managed to avoid being murdered by him by taking her own life after failing to reason with him. Due to being a child, Scott remained unsuspected by the police and got away with the murders and leaving them unsolved. Once Scott had gotten older, he then found himself with the urge to kill again, but knew it would be much more difficult now that he was an adult. Scott went to the police as an adult, and then lied that he remembered the face and name of his family's killer, dubbing him to be "Bun-buns". He then worked to become a detective who worked to catch "Bun-Buns". Doing so, he found it easier to get away with his murders. At some point during his career, a 19 year old named Raza approached him with the dream of becoming a detective herself. Scott accepted and found happiness for the first time in his life from being her mentor, but he knew he was at risk of Raza learning the truth. At some point, he kidnapped her and erased her memories with a drug, though her dream to be a detective remained. Despite this, Raza later learns the truth about Scott and her memories.

Current Bio: In the final scene, Scott offers to let Raza join him in his crimes, and despite everything she accepts his offer.

Meta-History: Scott, or Bun-buns as he's better known, originates from a short story that a classmate wrote for me: Bun-bun: origins of a killer. meaning that he technically wasn't created by me, which is pretty rare considering that I've made most of my OCS. However my classmate is only responsible for the original short story, everything after that has all been my doing, including his design. I don't completely remember where I got the idea to have him have an alternate identity as a detective who's "looking" for the murderer, but I personally think I've always been a fan of characters that have secret identities so that could be it. While "Scott" wasn't in my classmate's original short story, I always intended him to Bun-buns from the first chapter I wrote, and honestly it's a pretty obvious reveal because 13 year old me made little attempt to hide it.

Relationships with other characters:

Raza: Scott is very attached Raza, and considers her to be one of the only people he cares about. Even after she learns the truth about him, Scott still cares about her, and even offers to let her join him in his crimes.

Taro: Scott and Taro do not have a good relationship due to Scott kidnapping Taro's daughter.

If I think of anything else I'll add it later!
