Intro

"There's a lotta goodness around, you just got to look hard enough!"

An ancient legendary pokemon that was personally made by Notan. She is basically the complete opposite of her sister, Ragnoroma. She is very energetic and happy, talking to almost everyone she meets. She gets very excited when meeting new people and will often be very talkative, asking an extreme amount of questions. She loves hearing about other's lives. In the eyes of Gadonian people, she is seen as a ray of sunshine, and a sign of purity and inpending happiness. She is the most popular and beloved Pokemon in Gado.

Yonalys doesn't exactly live in one place, she likes to fly around Gado a lot, usually resting high in the trees. She mostly stays around the grasslands, forests, and mountains of Gado, often seen flying around at day. She enjoys flying with pods of Arwhyms and Aerylls the most, as well as watching every other species of Pokemon around. If not sleeping at night, she can be spotted flying in the sky even miles away, from how much she stands out in the dark.

Personality

  • OUTGOING: She is extremely outgoing, often approaching humans alone, even. She'll talk with whoever for hours, continuing conversations with her constant questions. She loves answering questions as well, and being a beloved pokemon, she gets a lot of them.
  • NAIVE: She is very impulsive and somewhat childish. Often ignoring red flags due to her excitement. She most likely wouldn't realise someone has bad intentions until its too late.
  • OPTIMISTIC: Yonalys always looks on the happier side of things, often encouraging others with the same mindset. She believes there is good in everyone, everywhere.
  • SHORT-TEMPERED: She is extremely short tempered, especially when arguing with Ragnoroma. She is stubborn in her beliefs and won't let anyone try to change her mind, even if she's in the wrong. The more somemone pushes her, the angrier she gets.
  • ENERGETIC: She loves to constantly be moving, which is mostly why she doesn't want an actual 'home'. She enjoys flying around at extreme speeds, to get her energy out. Even going to play with some baby pokemon for hours.

Trivia

  • Shes been redesigned about 11 times, being the oc whos been redesigned the most.
  • Yonalys is one of my oldest ocs still in use, aside from Zahara and Azalea.
  • Despite both her mother and sister speaking in a sophisticated demeanor, Yonalys speaks casually.
  • She glows quite brightly, she can glow so bright it could blind someone. Though she keeps it dim so that no ones eyes get hurt.
  • The eyes on her back and wings are all independent, looking in all different directions. That's all they do, however.
  • Her names come from two words in different languages. Yona, meaning angelic, and Lys meaning light. I don't remember which languages, though.
  • She is quite ditzy, often staring off into the distance simply just spacing out.
  • Like an actual bird, she cannot see glass and often forgets to check for reflections. Often accidentally flying into windows of Gado's cities.
  • Just like the rest of the trio, the 'armour' on her is part of her skeleton, it is pure gold.

Ragnoroma Older Sister, Tense

Yonalys mostly starts the arguments between them. She is quite passionate and stubborn about her beliefs which can easily anger Rag. Despite their fights, she still loves Rag, and really wants to stop their constant arguing. Maybe one day she'll learn to control her anger and repair their relationship.

Notan Mother, Close

Yonalys and Notan are extremely close, both making time to visit one another despite both being busy. They will spend hours talking back and forth while walking through the snowy forests of Gado. They used to fly around together, but Notan has become too scared and tired to do so.
