Personality

Despite spending nearly his entire life in the lap of luxury, Indigo never actually developed that much of an ego problem in an actual sense. Interracting directly with him though you wouldn't know this, as his usually persona is very much snobbish and a bit rude. This is mostly a front, as in reality Indigo can't really stand selfishness, but as some kind of weird defense mechanism he's started acting like that himself. Although he excibits these traits emotionally though, his actions speak true to his actual kind intentions, and almost as if it's an ingrained part of his being, Indigo has an unshakeable will to protect the people that he loves, even if showing any sincerity makes him a bit shy.

Indigo

Changeling Sorcerer • Chaotic Neutral

Coming from a simple family of changelings, Indigo didn't have long to enjoy the simple life he was born into before tragedy struck. Finding both of his parents killed by a theif who broke into his home during the night, Indigo was captured in order to be sold due to his useful status as a changeling. Luckily for Indigo, this theif was intercepted by a squad from a nearby kingdom, and he was brought back to the castle as confinscated goods.

Although the royals were unsure of what to do with Indigo, he was saved by the young prince, who snuck him out of the place he was being held in, refusing to let anyone take him away. Although the royal family were apprehensive about Indigo at first, they eventually took him in, although with the caveat that Indigo act as a stand in for the prince during public events in the case someone tried to harm him. Although not completely free of strife, Indigo had built a good rapport with the castle staff and the citizens of the kingdom, and found himself fairly content.

One day, while coming home from a routine trip, the ship Indigo was on capsized and he found himself washed up on an unfamiliar shore. Soon after this, he was drawn to a nearby cave, wherein he found a mysterious talking sword who revealed to him that he was one of the legendary reincarnated heroes of legend. Although he wasn't exactly sure about this revelation, he soon met up with another one of the heroes who he gladly passed the sword onto. Meeting up with the others, Indigo set out to gain enough strength to defeat the evil void

After around a year of traveling around and preparing, Indigo and his friends yet again set out to defeat Xenos. Climbing to the top of a snowy mountain with the help of a mysterious spectre only Indigo could see, the group met up with a strange figure they had met in their previous lives, who gave Indigo a strange pocket watch and an ominous warning before dissapearing. In confronting the dark lord, despite his optimism, Indigo and his friends faced defeat once again. Attempting to buy time for them, Indigo died trying to protect his friends from an icey blast from Xenos, the hope in his heart that they would be okay, his last memory being the sight of the spectre he had seen previously, weeping into his arm.

Facts

  • Despite being a sorcerer, he bills himself as a swordsman. The sword he carries around is just a magic focus, and is totally useless for actual melee combat
