Blane was a human who got fused with a virus after tinkering with unnatural powers and technology.
He is a computer expert and he has found work with the Inners, fixing and creating technology for them. In return, they pay him with electricity. Which his body needs to survive.
He was often called to fix Acer. He would happily help since the leader would pay him handsomely. As he tinkered with Acer, he also bonded with Clove, someone who was also half-human like him.
He could live on the Inside, he has been offered to stay. But rather stays outside, since he dislikes the rain and humid weather inside the City's dome.
He lives like a hermit in his little home full of computers and gadgets.
His only company is a chatbot he calls Sarah.
He doesn't really care what kind of work he gets hired for as long as he gets paid.
He hates when someone bothers him.
