Kinoshita

MANIPULATIVE:Kinoshita is coy, cunning, a sly snake awaiting the slightest moment of vulnerability so that she may strike. The level of ease with which she transitions personalities, tugs on the strings of manipulation, could almost be described as borderline psychopathic. Her demeanor never remains the same - each person demands a new strategy, a new way to earn their favor. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, after all. What better way to become best friends with someone than to steal their entire personality?

ARROGANT: Arrogance befits her. In fact, it's ninety percent of her personality. The other ten percent is varying forms of condescension. It could indeed be argued that the relentless snark in Kinoshita's voice is among the top five most infuriating things to exist in the universe.

PATIENT: A lifetime of dealing with individuals that Kinoshita would consider to be 'intellectually incapable' has resulted in a lifetime of patience. Kinoshita is fairly adept at sitting there with a fake smile as someone rants to her about some obscure topic she has zero interest in...while also managing to make said someone feel like she is actually interested in what they have to say. Please, continue on with your thesis of quantum computing. She's intrigued. Really.

CLEVER: Kinoshita oft finds herself in unpleasant situations with seemingly no way out - but somehow, she always finds the solution that nobody else thinks of. It could be because she has zero problem with screwing other people over as a means to the end. Or it could be because she was listening to that scientist's vaguely incoherent ramble about quantum computing. A quick wit, a quick tongue, and a quick mind.

PAST

It would be easy to assume that Kinoshita was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, having never known a single day of hardship in her life, but the lingering remnants of her upbringing always have a way of sneaking back in. A street rat from birth, she and her brother—the sole living members of their small, quaint family—fought fiercely to survive in a hellscape abandoned by the government and the people.

Though the specific details of her involvement with the Nakaya lineage remains a well-guarded secret, it is well known that her criminal ties with them go back many years. Only within recent times has she finally decided to break away from the clutches of a dark past...and yet, she can never seem to escape her wrongdoings from long ago.

PRESENT

Kinoshita has made quite the name for herself. Or, perhaps more accurately, multiple names, all of which she wears with both pride and shame. Trusted ally. Lover. Enemy. Sworn arch nemesis. That one smirking bitch with the bad hair. The products of a lifetime spent fostering many connections: some good, some bad, and some outright treacherous. Regardless of the morals—or the lack thereof—involved in how she acquired it, few can boast the vast amount of information available at their fingertips quite like her; if a secret exists, Kinoshita will come to know it.

Such is her duty: reclaim the knowledge that should rightfully be the company's.

And to do so by any means necessary.
