Crescenzo was born under a different name to a noble family of lords and ladies in a kingdom still ruled by a crowned ruler, though not the eldest of his parents. He was a bit of a troublemaker for his governesses and keepers, tending to light things on fire. Not to mention the problems when his blood aspect started to show...

Fledgling

When he was old enough to be taught, the boy was buried in lessons, practice, and classes. He was taught social cues and how to manipulate the strange, stilted world of the upper crust. Something he took to extremely well, being so charismatic most assumed he had a hidden speech aspect. Crescenzo was also taught to play instruments, all kinds of arts and sciences, how to fence and fight in duels.

Being highblooded, and roughly the same age, he became quick friends with the crown prince (Percival). The two were inseprable and they were soon joined by a knight in training (Cain) who would be named the prince's eventual personal knight. Crescenzo would often get the trio into problems and just as quickly get them out of it. They were happy times that were the highlight between all the stuffy nobility lessons.

Young Adult

As the three birds grew, so did their feelings. Crescenzo had grown a crush on Cain, though wasn't sure how to say so. Before he could confide in Percival, the prince confided in him first. Percy had also become smitten with his knight, though he knew the difference in their standings made it difficult. Crescenzo couldn't let his feelings go unsaid and in a moment of youthful foolishness he went behind his friend's back, to tell Cain of his own feelings before Percy could, before his parent's would line up suitors for him to court.

Shockingly, Cain returned the feelings despite his confusion. The two started a relationship in secret, under the noses of their families and the crown prince. It was good for a short time, the knight made his heart sing like he'd never felt. However the two were caught together by Percy eventually and he saw red in a way Crescenzo could have never predicted. There was little he nor Cain could do but defend themselves from lethal blows, though the damage was done. Cain was torn to pieces, one of his horns shattered, and Crescenzo was left with life threatening wounds. Some mercy was granted to Cain, to be allowed to recover before his exile; Crescenzo on the otherhand was seen as a backstabber and betrayer. He was to leave immediately.

It was only thanks to Crescenzo's affinity for blood magic that he was able to keep himself alive long enough to seek medical help on another planet in the astral ocean. He tried to seek Cain out, to try and wait for him, but the hope quickly was squashed. He was alone. The nobleman changed his name and ran with only a small pouch of stargold he'd managed to sneak out. He would not die like a rat, he would not give Percival the satisfaction.

Adult

Crescenzo made a new name for himself, a new life. It took years upon years, multiple underhanded means, and many new friends. The former noble discovered the weird social dances and manipulations worked well for a new career in the criminal underworld. He was as well known for his wit and charm as he was for the myterious deaths that followed in his wake for those that crossed him. In time he's amassed a fortune of his own and opened an opulant casino resort that is a satellite to another planet. It's all glitz and glamour, lavish and hedonistic. So long as you don't cross the owner.

Aspects

• Fire: Fire comes to Crescenzo easily, though often it is for minor uses. He keeps himself warm, cigars lit, chandeliers burning bright with the same deft hand as when he needs to teach a cheater from one of his card tables a lesson. Anything he needs to burn or warm will get a touch if his fire. Though he's not the most adept fighter, the bird knows how to use his aspects to his advantage and for defending himself when needed.
• Blood: This aspect is one Crescenzo keeps closer to his chest, but it is a well known secret in the right circles. During training, he was never able to form shapes or weapons from blood very well, but he did find he was very good at bending the blood in people's veins and control them like puppets. He has some moderate medical abilities with it as well.
• Synchrony: A calling card that has formed for someone who's crossed the casino owner is to become a corpse that has been cooked from the inside out. Crescenzo is adept at imbuing heat into other's blood, anywhere from a threat to pure, boiling agony.

• Crescenzo is a hopeless romantic and has often had flings he was certain were 'the one' only for it to end in heartbreak, sad movies, and a pint of ice cream.
• Along with being a romantic for his own ventures, Crescenzo fancies himself a bit of a cupid. If he knows of people on his staff that have feelings for others, he cannot leave well enough alone. He is ESPECIALLY invested in Virgil and Keno's relationship they both deny is there.
• Dramatic and theatrical to a fault, though it's just who he is, it is also a way to appear non-threatening to make others underestimate him.
• Though his days of noble galas are far, far behind him, he still loves a good lavish party.
• He has a massive pride for his casino and the life he has built for himself from nearly nothing, all on his own blood, sweat, and many tears. If he had to chose between his criminal life and his casino, he'd always pick his casino and all the employees he houses there-in.
