About

Bunnie is a cheerful, upbeat, and quite social young woman. She's so easygoing, she'll make friends wherever she goes! Even doing something as simple as going to the grocery store or Pokémon Center is enough to make her strike up a conversation with somebody she doesn't even know. She makes her demeanor very well-known, considering that she has a distinct bounce in her step almost every time she walks. She's also quite teasing, but in a very lightheartedly, sweet way. She thinks it's cute to watch people squirm just from her saying some sweet words.

Bunnie works as a construction worker in the Galar Mine, which sounds quite weird, considering that someone as girly as her seemingly wouldn't be caught doing manual labor, but that isn't the case for Bunnie! She may be a girly, feminine lady, but she's also very strong, and feels that she should put her strength to good use. She's a very hard worker, but she's no stranger to slacking off through Pokémon battles. Even if she isn't slacking off, she likes to challenge trainers who wander onto the site she's working on. Her team consists of a shiny Azumarill, Lopunny, Wigglytuff, Audino, Cinderace, and her beloved ace, Diggersby.

Backstory

past

Bunnie grew up in Turffield to a huge family of farmers. Her family was very close-knit and loving -- they did almost everything together! Whether it was working, going for outings, or anything else, the family coordinated to do as many things together as possible. Bunnie really loved to work outside and take care of her pokémon, but when she wasn't doing that, she was training in the Turffield Stadium gym. She was picked on quite a bit, due to being shorter than all of her peers. Not only that, but she wasn't the most tactful trainer at the time, which made her even more vulnerable to being picked on. Bunnie was initially hurt by this, but as time went on, she began to motivate herself to work harder. She trained and trained, so much to the point where she could take on any one of her peers in a battle and win. Eventually, when she reached her early 20s, Bunnie decided that she wanted to get a job outside the farm. Her family was very supportive, and helped her job hunt, but the process wasn't very long at all. Due to her strength, she was able to easily score a job in the Galar Mine.

Present

Now, Bunnie has been working in the Galar Mine for 8 years. She has a girlfriend now, Joey, whom she met in the mine rather early on in her job. The two were polar opposites, but bonded on one thing: their love for cute things. They were both very different, but they just clicked so well. Though she still works in the mine, Bunnie now lives all the way out in Spikemuth with Joey. She takes a Corviknight Taxi out to work, and considers herself very fortunate to have a job that she loves so much.

Joey Sanela [ Girlfriend ]

Bunnie's girlfriend of 8 years. The two have been practically inseparable since they initially met -- there was just something about how gruff Joey is that caught Bunnie's eye. Bunnie's own sweetness was quite attractive to Joey herself, too -- after all, she did love cute things. The two spend almost all of their time together, with Bunnie tagging along with Joey whenever she went to work, be it at a local venue or even in an entirely different region!

Ollie [ Friend/Crush-y Type Figure

Ollie was initially Joey's friend, but Joey introduced the two ladies to each other after realizing they'd probably get along pretty well. Joey was very right, much to their delight. Bunnie finds Ollie to be painfully cute, so much so that she and Joey often want her to be their third. Ollie doesn't entirely reciprocate, but she does humor the couple and does do rather couple-y things with them.

Milo [ Friend ]

One of Bunnie's childhood friends, whom she met while training at the Turffield stadium. He was one of the only kids who didn't pick on her, which led them to form a close friendship. Even their families got along, due to their similar careers. Bunnie was overjoyed once Milo became the gym leader of Turffield, and celebrated with him for days on end. The two still keep in touch quite often, with Bunnie making biweekly trips to the stadium to see him.
