neo is a very cool squidkid who is very popular. he's well-liked by his friends and squids & octos who play turf war. he is popular on splatagram, squidder, and whatever the splatoon universe version of tiktok is. which kinda makes him an influencer in a way? i dont know. anyways. he wears his shades everywhere he goes, and never takes them off. its rumored that he has over 420 pairs of tinted shades in his closet. when you take one off, theres always another pair underneath.

neo has a reason for wearing these shades so often. he doesn't let anyone see his eyes, which he thinks makes him look cooler and more mysterious. he's insecure about how he looks and acts, so he puts on a cooler, more confident persona. but in reality, he has insecurities like anybody else. he feels bad whenever his shades are off because he feels like people will only like him if he's cool enough. which is why he wears them lol lmao. his tboy swag and cool behavior captivated me

he has a very big love for video games. in inkopolis square, neo has the highest score possible at squid beatz, which made him gain some popularity. neo is seen by the shoal almost every day of the week when he's not busy. sometimes he brings in his main friend group, which includes: kobi, matcha, and sockeye. neo usually hangs out with finley, the usual employee at the shoal. they have a sibling-like relationship, and neo likes to bother them whenever theyre on their work shift. he doesn't do this in an insulting way, but more-so just an affectionate friend thing he does. he sees him as an older sibling because of their similar issues and appearances.

TRIVIA

• his favorite bands are hightide era and chirpy chips
• the only exception of his eyes being shown is when one of his eyes are shown on only one of his glasses frames. there is no other exception.
