Lennox

A young axe-wielding adventurer just looking to learn a craft. Lennox had absolutely no inkling about 'warriors of light' until weird shit started happening to him - not that that's exactly out of the ordinary; he's always had a hard time fitting in, this is just the first time it's netted him so much attention. He's invested in the idea of using his strength to help people but underneath he'd really rather be looking for his closest friend gone missing.

Lennox met his best friend while studying under the marauder's guild ahem, Hall of Heros. Emil is Lennox's pillar - he was the first person patient enough and interested enough in Lennox that he felt he could open up. Unfortunately, Emil's loyalty to his clan took precedence to his apprenticeship, and when he vanishes, Lennox is left to wander aimlessly, vague and lost. More recently, Lennox met a little lady by the name of Winnifred the Waddler, who took it upon herself to, ah... "look after" Lennox. His new diminuitive potato of a companion will defend and "translate" for her comparatively massive friend - most of the time she's right, to be fair, but she peppers in quite a lot of choice language. She's known Lennox for maybe a month, but he follows her around rather akin to a lost puppy without Emil.

When presented with any reason to fight, Lennox's normally meek and relatively unassuming demeanor shifts alarmingly fast into one of extreme outward aggression. He seems to have no sense of self preservation and will attack anything he perceives as an acceptable target when he gets into a mood, but his intent is calculated and his skills as sharp as his axe. When frustrated or upset, he will disappear wordlessly, to be found later amidst the remains of a few monsters. It's comfortingly rhythmic for him, and he figures if he can make things a little safer while he vents his emotions all the better.

Lennox is very quiet and practically never speaks, though when he's alone with people he trusts he is able to muster the ability to sign. Sometimes what he really thinks can be inferred from his face, but most of the time it's fixed in an unreadable mask. Despite his poker face, he's like a loving, loyal guard dog; incredibly easy to distract and eager to please at the slightest word. It's important to keep track of Lennox, lest he take up your complaint about the dragon lording over the road as a request to dispatch it.
