About
Magellan is a powerful necromancer living a secluded life, hiding from all kinds of unnececary attention. He has a rich and well-known family, but when he was barely an adult karma got to them and he lost both of his parents and a sister. As an only survivor he took the remaining money and left his name behind, starting a new life. He quickly got interested in necromancy, his interest rooted in trauma, he seeks power in knowledge in all kinds, making him single handedly more powerful and scarier than his family ever was.

Trivia
- Magellan killed his own father, after learning that it was his fault his own wife and daughter got killed for crossing paths with wrong people. His father wanted to get rid of him too - they never had a nice relationship in the first place - but Magi did it first instead. His father gave him a lot of unresolved trauma by constant neglect and abuse. He had a better relationship with his mother and sister, which led him to regret and blame himself that he wasn't able to prevent their deaths, eventually leading to him taking interest in necromancy, tho eventually this reason was left when the grief was partially healed.
- Magi has his own undead knight, serving as his watch dog. He found a grave of an old warrior named Legionnaire and used it to his own advantage. Even tho Magellan is not easy to defeat whatsoever, he still has underlying paranoia and prefers to keep a guardian by his side. The only downside being he's also afraid of the knight - after all he's twice as big as Magellan himself.
- Magi struggles with BPD. In different AUs he's prone to submit to more powerful figures, putting his powers to serve whoever he looks up to. He's very prone to self destructive ideas once he takes a step towards a dangerous path, and once you get to his vulnerable side it's not that hard to do, especially since he doesnt have a support group of friends or family, even tho he absolutely hates not having his own autonomy. He sometimes lacks self preservation.
Committed relationship
Amaro and Magi met by sheer chance, slowly growing closer and closer to each other, while travelling together. Amaro was one of few people Magellan was hesitant to be cold to, and he quickly became a person of great comfort for him. Magi didn't anticipate for his interest in Amaro to grow to anything serious - maximum a fling - but he was very wrong, as he was never so in love before. When Magellan learned about Amaro's past - rather similar in nature to his - he was both taken back and feeling empathetic. Magellan keeps distance from people who are capable of horrible things, but at the same time he understood how it feels to have a horrible family, so instead of closing off from Amaro he showed compassion and their relationship was set in stone through a messy process. Magellan is very protective of Amaro, he's very loyal to their relationship and values it more than anything in the world.
Close friends
Magi and Sumati met somewhere in their mutual adventures, before Magi got his life back together after rather traumatic events. She saw good in him behind his facade, and even tho Magi wanted to leave as soon as possible, Sumati clamed him as her friend and even offered to stay at her place while he's looking for his own home. It broke the initial ice Magellan has for other people, and they slowly became very close friends.
Ex
Magi had a very confusing, not defined kind of relationship with Chronos. He thought he was smart enough to avoid people like that and had a good judge of character, but Magi quickly regretted geting with him in the first place, as relationship became unstable, violent and borderline abusive. It ended rather fast and Magi prefers ignoring the fact that it ever existed.
