Pluto Carousel

A tall dorito of a deer person with a stoic demeanour, few words for those he respects and none for those he doesn't, and an anti-authoritarian streak that can quickly get him into trouble if he's anywhere near civillised society.

Product of a neglectful, toxic family life, Pluto left home very early and raised himself in the Wilds of the March british isles. A natural talent for witchcraft allowed him to live in tune with the local Spirits and use their help to defend himself when necessary. His magic skills also extend to a little wizardy, making him a force to be reckoned with even if he weren't already a physically powerful individual. A survivalist and individualist to the bone (which are blue), Pluto's hatred of authority and the surveillance-based government of Infraflux has lead to a history of terrorist violence, ending in his capture by law enforcement and subsequent delivery to the Green Lotus Rehabilitation Society.

Pluto is a member of Facilitator Nénuphar's household of "special cases", and finds solace from his anger at the world in his calm, perpetually sunlit greenhouse room overflowing with lush greenery... and also in occasionally beating the crap out of authority figures and destroying government buildings. It's therapeutic! Pluto has never met anyone who understands his cause and his quiet soul as deeply as the Facilitator does, and respects them tremendously.

Pluto's intuitive, calm rapport with Spirits grants him skills in overwhelming terrain-based effects and large-scale disruption, breaking down communication and organisation through things such as weather, seismic activity, or inanimate objects gaining life. As Pluto is known to law enforcement he generally keeps himself hidden, hanging back and pulling the strings of chaos. Pluto's skillset is both similar and complementary to Effa's and they are often paired up to work together, though their personalities clash tremendously.
