When Nova moved states to the city of Outik, she could've never guessed how much would change with a "simple" move to a fairly normal city, nor did she even want so many changes to her day-to-day life.

Following a job opportunity offered to her father, she moved into the beach city with her immediate family at 10 years old, where her powers woke shortly thereafter — as is common with other people her age. She managed to land a spot into Wynd, a school that is between other things designed to train void demon hunters both physically and magically.

All of a sudden, she was cursed by Olen himself. On top of that, she was invited by AEGIS staff to take part in a... very special project — not like she would refuse such opportunity. Though powerless to change her circunstances, she still powers on, motivated by the desire to protect the good things in her life.

Nova is a determined and stubborn prick, often taking on 'impulsive' actions — which do end up going well enough. With an outward demeanor that screams teenage rebellion and self-confidence, you'd guess she's mostly perfect or at least thinks she is so. Wrong. She absolutely despises every flaw she can find on herself, and often thinks she's not worthy of the attention and care she gets, though she will still be grateful. She likes to be proven right, so the reassurance that she's enough, and that her thoughts are only her mind's work upsets her a ton.

When near her superiors or anyone she feels like it's not worth defying, she'll be quiet and will only add important information she notices, but when around her friends, she truthfully has no limit. She likes laughing out loud, and being a general prick, after all, she still likes to have fun! Just... not in a large public, per say.

Nova and her twin Valentine were born to a fairly stable household in Enitte. Her father is a marine biologist and her mother, a librarian.

CHILDHOOD

Nova's childhood was rather not remarkably good or bad. Though, she did always have a perchant towards the demon hunting profession, despite her uncontrollable fear of Void Demons — but that's just how kids are. The fact her mother used to briefly be a huntress too did inspire her.

A few months before her 10th birthday, her father received a job opportunity in an aquarium in the city of Outik, causing the whole family to move a state over to it. After they moved in but before they could even start school, both Valentine's and Nova's powers woke. This did mean they could study at Wynd, where they were placed into for the new year.

(PRE)TEENS

After starting out at Wynd, Nova decided on becoming a huntress after all... but her fear had never subsided. Still, she went in scared anyway, faking a courageous persona to help her own sister in her inner conflict about the profession.

A few months into her training, on April 24th 2071, she very unfortunately ran into Olen himself, who seized the 'opportunity' by cursing her for reasons known only to him. Though her physical injuries from the event were rather serious, Princess Lara Arcus was present and tipped off AEGIS to take care of her wounds. She was also then recruited into the organization, along with her sister, as Valentine was recognized as a daydreamer.

Right after being discharged from the hospital from her injuries, she dreamed about a strange entity living in her head: "Nightshade", she called herself. While Nova was skeptical of the woman's existence, she soon would realize the talks about her being now a void elementalist lined up with the fact she very suddenly could not realize the tasks her light magic instructor gave her.

Around September of that same year, she was invited by Taylor to participate in a special project he was planning on: the Fusion Unit Program. She was then appointed to Fusion Unit 01 after forming a bond with Regulus, though she was still too young to pilot it herself.

TODAY

She was recently given the permission to actually pilot Regulus, a giant boost to her self-confidence. However, Nightshade is as relentless as ever in her head, as are her own raging feelings. Maybe even feelings for someone.

Swordfighting: Nova fights with an european inspired sword, double-edged. She often uses other body parts to support her moves, as well as the environment.

Void Element: As a void elementalist, she is a much more powerful version of a shadow elementalist, being able to learn both shadow and void spells. However, there are no mortal void elementalists, so she very begruginly learns those from Nightshade, as well as making her own.

Time Manipulation: From her curse, she can mildly control and stop time; generally stopping time for maybe a minute of perceived time.

Fusion Unit 01 - Regulus: She is a pilot for the Fusion Unit Program, a group of people who hunt inside their mechs.

FUN FACTS

She has a playlist, Scars from Stars.

She most definitely has depression and anxiety, though both are under the radar and undiagnosed for now.

When she was younger, she was very afraid of the dark, and also the full moon for some reason.

She has been cursed with the Double Soul Curse, making her a void elementalist — and the only mortal with it. Before the curse, she used to be a light elementalist.

Her favorite space object are black holes. She likes their mysterious nature.

She eats all types of meat except seafood. Just personal preference.

She has a bunch of scars and dark marks around her body.
