An up-and-coming businessman at the precipice of making it big who had the misfortune of being bit by a vampire and then dry-drowning two days later. That vampire, Symon, happened to have been justly killed between those two days, but Symon’s old associates Suzanne and Madalena were willing to help out. Martin worked hard to bring himself up to their standard and be a vampire of value to them, which worked out well in his favor as when his business finally took off, he was accepted into the beginnings of the Caron-Gagliardi family. Martin is now a business executive and a core member of the family’s empire.

While Martin gets along well with everyone in the immediate family, he is particularly fond of Atticus. The two of them are well known for spending time together either golfing or taking a trip out on the boat or even just having a nice drink together for hours.

Martin has most recently taken Lexi in under his wing after he sired her to give her another chance at life. The two of them have a strong father daughter relationship.
