Profile

Omniopteryx have a life cycle that goes as such:

Egg→Grub→Pupa→Adult

(Images for all of these coming soon!  I already have them designed, I just need to finish the art)

-Eggs are always round and soft shelled, and usually reflect the colors of the Queen who originally laid them.

-Grubs are small, squishy, and fat!  They have no teeth, and their legs have not fully formed yet.  Grubs also always have short, stubby antennae.

-Over time, a grub will slowly grow larger in size as it is fed, raised, and trained.  Once they are big and old enough, they will pick out a cell in the nursery, and build a cocoon for themselves.  From there, the pupa will lie still and dormant for several months while the grub inside changes.

-Once the pupa stage is complete, the adult Omniopteryx will emerge from their cocoon, fully formed.  The first few days after their emergence will still be spent in the nursery, as Omniopteryx emerge in a weakened state, with crumpled wings.  After the recovery process, the Omniopteryx is ready to start their new life as a fully formed adult Omniopteryx!

Some adult Omniopteryx do not emerge full sized from their pupa though, and may still grow a little bit from emergence, until they reach their full size.
