Jagger

Personality: Jagger is the god of drip, the savior of style. The coolest Edeia on the block. The Edeia of Swag's personality makes him friendly, bombastic and fun, for Jagger only wishes to have a good time. He is oddly reliable, as he only wishes for everyone to develop their own style, both in fashion and self-confidence. His ego is not overbearing, but can be when he truly gets in the mood.

Abilities: Boon of the Vogue - Jagger is the patron of style to those who can pull off their punches in fashion and flare. The Edeia of Swag blesses the recipient's accessories or outfit with magical power, depending on the category or aesthetic of the article of clothing. They may be imbued with fortified protection, resistances to certain magic or aid the user in combat.

When an article of clothing is blessed by the moves of Jagger, they sparkle with a bright yellow array. The duration, strength and effectiveness of the splash magic embedded in each accessory varies, for Jagger's boons act like a wild card.

Cavort - Jagger can bestow a form of agility to a user he chooses. When enlightened by Cavort, the user's footsteps usually result in the user dancing with confidence and style, even if they lacked the skill previously. The bailé gives a significant speed boost and shifts the progression of time around the user (often useful when dodging enemies and attacks) to truly highlight the dancer's swag to those who see them.

"Fresh" Air - Jagger 's immense energy of swag radiates as an aura, emitting a sense of style to all that surrounds him. The aura will drive a sense of curiosity and intriguing sensation, to help those to explore and interact.

History: Jagger was born as a decorator crab (specifically the Acanthonyx dentatus species) in the Age Of Magic. Jagger was one of the smaller specimens in their habitat, and was in constant competition with his ecosystem to live and thrive. As the little crab began to develop an Idea as well as an ego and sense of higher consciousness, he started to appreciate the beauty and creativeness of the materials used to decorate his own carapace. From coral to rocks and sands, he strayed away from using his techniques of camouflage to stand out from the rest of the bog. The style, the lavish beauty of his appearance, the raw confidence Jagger embodied.

He flaunted it with pride, to the point where a natural predator found him in the bog, shining brilliantly. Before the predator could attempt to eat him whole, the little crab Actualized, growing multiple sizes out of the water as "J." The hipster Edeia however, could not properly define his Idea as a particular concept, but he could feel it. He just had to wait for the word to come.

Across the Ancient times, J was known to have shapeshifted as a human, inspired and enamored by the styles and culture human society had developed, shifting their accessories and clothes to reflect the most current popular trends. He gave magical boons to those who could pull off such style brilliantly, giving him a mystical stance. As other beings began to hear about him, they had given him longer names, for they wondered what the long version of his true name was.

Age Of Secrecy

J, in result of the convergence that declared Secrecy among humans and magic, decided to shed his Edeia side for a long while. He took the form of a human across the entirety of the Age Of Secrecy, living as a stylist and tailor. He offered such swag to the wealthy and to the poor, which made his services very popular, despite racial and status issues during the time. When he aged to the expected lifespan of his human life, he would "die" and start all over in another region of the world to avoid suspicion.

By this time, he dived into finding a proper name for himself, settling on the well-liked name of Jagger. His Edeia look, when hidden away, would shift depending on the style of attire in the time period.

Nearing the end of Secrecy, within the late 20th century, Jagger was enraptured by the growth of slang and color: bold bright colors, abstract shapes and the rise of media inspired Jagger so much that he would incorporate the fashion as his permanent Edeia look. Where it clicked — a particular slang word known as "swag" was thrown around. The stylish confidence it gave, while remaining short and quaint, Jagger knew this was the word for his Idea.

As Secrecy began to shatter, Jagger counted down the seconds before he could shine his true self to the world. As soon as the world began anew, Jagger was free, becoming of his true self as the Edeia of Swag, the god of drip.

Abstraction: Jagger's Abstraction is shrouded in an endless mote of space: a giant planet which resembled Saturn sat in the middle of Jagger's little pocket dimension, surrounded by funky purple and blue nebulae with yellow rings. The rings may solidify into a solid surface, allowing visitors to walk among them - Jagger is known to roller skate on them, and may allow those to wish to join him in the fun.

The inside of the planet, when entered, is a catacomb of less modern architecture, oozing old styles and fashions. It is a treasure trove to late 20th century enthusiasts, filled with memories of the 80s and 90s. Very much a museum of wacky and almost weird but interesting culture. To the mundane, it is easy to get lost inside.
