Created to be the ultimate form of perfection, THARES had a purpose.  When the brain THARES possessed didn't age beyond seven years old, that purpose fell flat on its face- and soon THARES was just a Creation Gone Wrong.

Ares is a robot with a human brain and a nervous system!  He can process touch and feeling through his hands and body, and his brain works just like any other human's.  However, he is mentally around seven years old, so Ares prefers coloring pictures of flowers than anything else.  This, of course, angers Thomas, so Ares spends his days in the basement mopping the floors.

Ares's body is equipped with a ton of weapons, but most of them were made useless after Thomas destroyed Ares's original body.  Now it just contains files, secure information, and many other useless items, like soundmakers and pictures of ducks.  Some say there's a secret function Ares possesses as well, but.... no one besides Thomas knows what that could be.

Ares really loves ducks!  They're his favorite animal, although he's only ever seen pictures of them in books.  Since he can't go outside, he treasures all the flowers Lorelei ends up bringing back for him when she goes out.  Ares loves to please those around him and is willing to do anything to have that happen!  Always optimistic and bubbly, Ares can never see a downside to anything.
