Ravaan Arakis is a young priest from the Holy Capital. He had been abandoned as an infant at the doorsteps of the Citadel and was found and adopted by Archbishop Gidden Arakis. Later, he decided to become a knight and join the Holy Order and trained under Ser Caleun, the Lion-Hearted, as his squire.
Ravaan is a tall, red-skinned tiefling with short black hair. He has pointed ears and sharp yellow pupils with dark scleras. He has a single pair of horns on the left side of his forehead. He is able-bodied with moderate muscle mass. Ravaan is commonly seen in chainmail and a white priest uniform, complete with a golden collar. He also wears a golden breastplate and a winged-shaped golden shoulder guard. Occasionally he’s also seen wearing a blue cloak on top.
Ravaan is a serious and rather closed off young man. He is respectful, formal and generally quiet. When he does speak he is careful with his words and speaks softly. Due to his distant personality, Ravaan is rather unpopular amongst the crowd. He is more respected than adored by others, resulting in him having trouble making friends. He can seem harsh and firm but he is seen to be deeply caring, kind and observant.
He is hardworking and relentless, training every day for years to master his skill. Even before he became a squire, Ravaan was studious and excelled in academics. He can even be a little obsessive, especially in his search for knowledge or skill. But he is patient, determined and tentative when it comes to his goals.
Ravaan is courageous but proud. He is strong-willed and extremely stubborn, which proves to be both his best and worst quality. He would refuse to back down from an argument, or accept a different opinion. On the contrary though, he will not run from a fight, even if his defeat is imminent. His stubbornness however also makes him blindly steadfast and devoted to the will of his faith and the law.

- Ravaan's name derives from the hindu demon, Ravana.
- In the Modern AU setting, his name is Ravi Arakis. He is half South Asian and half Greek. Ravi is the sterotypical prim and proper son of the pastor and considered kind of a narc by his peers because of his careful and law-abiding ways.
