Born in a land far away from Hallownest, but raised by the spiders of Deepnest, Valerio is one tough bug. When the infection started to threaten his home, and a majority of the spiders succumbed, he moved to the Crystal Peak for its seclusion.

He's snarky, sarcastic and difficult to have a conversation with, but fiercly protective if he considers you a friend. Just don't betray that trust, or you might find yourself on the end of his nail. Despite being an outsider, he's able to navigate Hallownest with ease, and has made it his life mission to train under as many nailmasters as possible. His skills with the nail are unparalleled among bugs.

Crafty beyond all measure, Val's able to create tools out of the simple things he finds around. If he can think of it, he can make it.
