(You noticed the club. Oho. Yeah, odd neckwear, but I like my 'theming' on clothing. He doesn't show enough body here (though it is on his original), but his little coattail caps are hearts, to finish the theming. Diamonds are supposed to be symbolized by the jutting out triangle in the cuffs (though not real diamonds; maybe I should edit that, given diamonds are by far the easiest to include in clothing), though they could also be on his pants legs, at the very bottom, which I've done in other designs. S...Spade is his goatee, even if it looks more like a diamond because Spades are hard to get the shape right, and you can't see the bottom).

I loved him from his inception, though for some reason, I wasn't 'feeling' my drawing itself back then (and I still don't fully 'feel' it, but I like him a little more in this new one). Him and Yami: something about their art bothered me.

I love dark teal. :|

That and maroon are two of my favorites (so thank you, Zane, for sometimes wearing the latter. Though even he wears dark teal or dark green sometimes.

I do like the dark teal over the brass (BUT HE'S THE BRASS HERO, DARN IT). The brown wasn't BAD, as it makes it pretty earthly, but ahhhh, the teal pops a lot more. I think part of it was just something off about the drawing itself, and yet, I can't pick it out, except maybe his 'back' goes too low (y-you don't need to tell me; I'm fine being ignorant and NOT having others pick apart old art. D:). For Yami, it might've been partially posing, but she also wasn't buff enough. I actually did edit her since then, so she's a bit better, but looking back, NO, STILL WRONG. TORSO IS OFF (I'm just bad at buff people, man. I think "go buff" and then I still draw them lean, despite LITERALLY trying to focus on making them 'bigger.')

Amun is going to be my savior in that regard. I still draw him too lean too, but drawing him is making me KIND OF get the hang of it.

I need to draw more purposefully overly buff Maldreth (or Amun) (or even Zane), just to teach myself, while also being ridiculous. :( That'll motivate me.

I know he doesn't HAVE to, and sometimes I even purposefully play around with the "I'm this color, but it doesn't fit me" thing (Absit :( ), but I do like making it match when I can. But yeah, I might keep him Dark Teal (or red, for casino theming), and he can just have brass highlights or something, to make him still 'connected.'

You draw Maldreth too skinny (well, no, you said he was pretty lean). I draw him too buff, despite him still being 'my buff,' not actual buff-buff. If only we could combine into some middle ground.

Yeah, buff boobs are hard. (Really, I'm just bad at 'buff chest' in general, but boobs make it worse.) (Then again, I'm just bad at boobs in general. I fell out of practice once I embraced Zane.)

Zane becomes buff, and suddenly, Maldreth is more interested. :(

(Not really; I think he'd actually find that a little off-putting, while still being proud, because he's healthier.)

(That said, he DOES like buff men.)

(As does Zane.)
