Clothing Style

Linsey doesn't dress particularly girly, but she's also not too much of a tomboy. She tends to dress in sporty styles or simple and casual outfits with mild rocker influences, usually in her shirt designs or accessories. She doesn't accessorize too much and prefers to dress relatively simply and in clothes that don't impede her movement. She doesn't like skirts or dresses much and prefers jean pants or shorts. She has a mildly edgy style without being too hardcore or clearly in any particular stereotype of style. She prefers comboing black or gray pieces with darker shades of almost any color, although she prefers reds, purples, and blues. She doesn't have a specific favorite type of footwear, but she'll only wear shoes that she could easily run in or give someone a hard kick to the teeth with. Some of her clothing is rock band themed, and some of it is mildly Chinese themed/influenced since she is a black belt in karate, but she doesn't make a point to center an entire outfit around any particular theme.

Personality

Linsey is a confident and independent young woman with a fierce attitude. She tends to be a self-starter and is reliable in how she handles her responsibilities, but she can also be rather sassy and a risk taker. She is often respectful toward others until they give her reason not to be, but she is obviously more silly and teasing toward those she's warmed up to. Linsey enjoys being challenged, both mentally and physically, and she prefers to accomplish tasks and goals on her own, although she's not afraid to ask for help when needed. She can be a little intimidating sometimes with how passionate and fierce she is, but in general she is easy to approach and talk to. When in calm situations, Linsey is very mellow and friendly, but she can get fired up very easily and is viciously protective of those close to her, especially her family. She's not one to be underestimated and can quickly put hecklers in their place, either with her sharp tongue or with a sharp karate kick to the face.

Although not excessively social, Linsey enjoys communicating with others, usually online more than in person. It's common to see her on her phone checking her social media, and she always sets time aside at home to manage her accounts and her blogs/vlogs. She's definitely not hooked to her devices though, since she greatly prefers to be outdoors and doing hands-on tasks. She has a pretty chill sense of humor and enjoys lightly teasing her friends and family to lighten the mood, but she's also not afraid to take charge of a situation when called for. Her quirky side tends to come out when doing projects involving Etrukan Truth's social media presence, and she enjoys recording them doing weird things and inciting loads of fanart from their followers (especially of ships that half the band members don't approve of :P).

Backstory

Linsey was too young to remember that her parents divorced shortly after she was born, and she was raised along with her older brother, Conner, and later their cousin, Volkmar, by only her father, Oskar. They spent some time living in Germany near her grandparents, but after a few years they were showing signs that they weren't going to be able to take care of themselves soon. Oskar decided to visit his sister, Hanna, in America for a while to figure out what to do to support the three children on his own. Unfortunately he was unaware the US had a warrant for his arrest for assisting Volkmar's father elude authorities after a mass murder, and he was apprehended during their visit to Hanna’s. Oskar managed to use his power over Mana to escape and went on the run with the three children.

They lived on the run for years until they finally settled in Omaha, NE. During these years, Conner and Volkmar wrote music together while growing up, and occasionally when Fathom Shank encountered them on the run he would join them. Linsey would sometimes record videos of them performing songs and would upload them to her website, which she eventually redesigned to focus on them as a band. Etrukan Truth came into being after Oskar took in Jasper Moflin, and later Conner met and saved Lee Schmedrick from kidnappers seeking ransom. Their music was mostly distributed through their website and social media, and their healthy fan following from before gaining other band members grew exponentially to their surprise. Linsey spends most of her free time managing their sites and PR while also keeping the household of boys in check.
