About
Libidine is the demon version of my other character Levi. He was turned into Libidine after Arthur, his adopted father, made a deal with the devil.
Libidine grew up in the kingdom, but often left to explore the towns once he figured out spells to hide in plain sight. He loves talking to the demons around town and exploring new areas. As he got older he ran out of places to explore, and got bored. That's when he went into the depths of his library and learned about the overworld. After pestering Simon for long enough, he learned where he came from and determined to see them.
He grew up stubborn and good with his words, getting him out of trouble a lot. He had to do what he needed to survive. He did a lot of things he regrets, but justifies it by saying he was in Hell. He's always gone against what Satan said, mostly listening to Simon and Valen. He didn't learn much outside of the library and bits of what he heard from other demons.

Likes
Local Demons He enjoys messing around with the local demons, mostly tricking them into getting what he wants and such.
Alopha Alopha is the guard dog of Satan's castle, and was Libidine's best friend growing up.
Guards / Housekeepers Libidine has always treated most of the staff inside of Satan's castle with respect, but there's a few he doesn't like. Those ones, he messes with using his magic and athletics.
Overworld Things Libidine loves hearing about the surface, he would always ask the demons around what it was like up there and would keep any items he found, even if it was just a Coke bottle cap.
Dislikes
Satan Seeing as Satan is literally his abductor, I don't blame him. He hates Satan with all his heart. As a kid he tried to see him as a father figure but never could.
Work A demon in Hell is given their title or specific job when they reach 100. Once Libidine reached this age he was given a incubus and sleep paralysis role. He never uses his abilities together, but does what he has to. He hates his job and normally sticks to the sleep paraylsis part unless he needs some extra cash.
Secrets When Libidine was taken away from his actual family, he was too young to remember. He was lied to all his life about it.
Blue Dark greys and blues remind Libidine of Satan. It's something he's trying to get over, but it bothers him sometimes. He's glad his coat turned out red.
- Favorite place to be is the ruins in between the Inbetween and Diremere.
- Libidine is a sucker for shiny things.
- Although Libidine prefers to act all "macho tough guy" he can be quite childish at times.
- Libidine uses his tail as a third arm at some moments, this has improved his agility and strength using it.
- His favorite person to talk to as a kid was Simon, but he finds him a bit odd now a days. Simon's in his own head a bit too much for Libidine's liking.
- He has a huge interest in creatures that aren't from Hell or aren't native to the area. Like creatures from Heaven or the Overworld. He's read books about them his whole life and as he got older he went exploring to find ones that have spilled through the cracks in his world. Sometimes he's lucky and finds remains or a small one living in the walls of the Inbetween.
- He is a sucker for spicy food!
- He always gets his horns caught on laundry and such, that's why he doesn't wear clothes most of the time. His fur covers everything important.
Stats
Strengths
Tail He is extremely good at using his tail for all of his needs, allowing him to use it for agility and such during combat.
Horns The shape of his horns keep his head mostly protected, making it more difficult to hit.
Goat legs He's got extremely strong legs, he can run on walls with his magic as well allowing him to move quickly.
Magic Due to all the reading he did as a kid, he knows quite a bit of spells. He's proficient in the ones that go with his demon kind. He uses a lot of magic for long range, but prefers to use his legs and fists for up close.
Flaws
Slow thinker Libidine is more of a "in the moment" kind of guy, he's horrible at planning things before hand. This bites him in the ass a lot.
Limited knowledge With him only having books and the creatures in Hell, this tends to limit his knowledge for outside creatures or new beings in Hell. He doesn't know the weak spots or their habits.
Self Absorbed He tends to boost his own ego a lot and get himself into situations he can't actually handle. This gave him most of his scars to be honest.
Weapons Libidine doesn't use weapons most of the time. He rarely does since he finds himself capable of everything he needs to do. If he had to fight with a weapon, he'd be screwed.

Notes
- Tooth necklace he somestimes wears is actually Satan's tooth from a fight he won.
- He always has jewerly hanging on his ears and horns.
- Bones are black, his blood is a gold and glows. The deeper the scar the more it glows.
- Fur is mostly matted, he really only grooms his hair and tail. His legs he only does sometimes.

Summary
Before Hell
He was originally found by Ria and Arthur wondering the lake as a foal, all dirty and wounded. He doesn't know his real parents, but was taken in immediately and cared for as if he was Ria and Arthur's blood. When they took him in, they gave him the name Leviathan. They gave him this name due to his strong demeanor and finding him by the lake. Ria was always very close to him. She cared for him and nursed him back to health. He loved her dearly and always respected her. He called her "mama" and would sleep next to her at night. Leviathan also grew very close to Arthur, his father. He would play with him as a child and helped him with small tasks, learning survival tactics with him. Leviathan grew up with his brother Oliver. They were a classic pair of brothers, picking on eachother all the time, getting in eachother's space, but would die for the other. Leviathan was the younger one out of the two by about 3 years. Oliver immediately took him under his wing.
A few years after Leviathan was introduced to the family, a harsh winter hit. Leviathan was around 6 at this time. The winter was cold and horrid. People were dying of sickness and hypothermia all around the tribe. Arthur was desperate to save his people. He knew his wife, Ria, had plenty of books on witchcraft and ways how to save the town. He snuck into her belongings and unlocked a chest she had hidden underneath the floorboards. In this chest was a book that contained spells to connect with demons from the underworld. Arthur went into the woods and did the first one he flipped to, the devil himself. Satan came into the overworld and pierced Arthur with his eyes. A deal was made without Arthur taking into consideration what the demon would want. Satan decided that he'd keep the tribe from harm, if he got the soul of Leviathan. Arthur in a panic accepted. Leviathan was brought into the underworld. He was supposed to be another classic meal for Satan, but his soul was unable to be consumed. He transfered into a more demon-like creature with the help of Simon and renamed Libidine. His memory was erased. He forgot all about Ria and Arthur. He was now stuck in Hell with the other demons.
Childhood
Libidine grew up mostly confined to the walls of the castle. He did everything he could inside of the castle, rarely seeing Satan. If he did, he was ignored or ridiculed. He read the books in the library a million times over, he drew on all the walls just for the maids to clean it off. He did most things he pleased, unless Satan was around. Libidine was normally at the fountains and the outside gardens. Or- somewhat gardens. Best that a garden can get in Hell. Libidine spent most of his time with Simon and Valen.
Simon would teach him everything he needed to know about any subject. Simon knew a lot about the overworld and often told Libidine stories from his time up there. Libidine always had a heavy interest in the overworld and never knew why. He thought it was just something beautiful and interesting. He thought it was a whole other world that felt so familiar but so far. It was the closest world he had to home. Simon also with time helped Libidine figure out his magic and how to use it. He taught him offense, defense, ways how to heal himself, and some other things on the side.
Valen was Libidine's main guard and friend throughout his childhood. She would teach him how to defend himself and how to get healthier. She was the one who cared the most about his mental state. She was hard on him a lot, but so was everyone else. She would bring him food whenever he was banished from the outside and would bring him gifts from town. She would tell him about Heaven and the battles that Hell had with them. She would tell him stories about her battles before being a guard. He admired her and considered her family.
Early Adulthood
Once Libidine was given his role in Hell, which was supposed to be prince. Libidine never considered himself anything related to Satan. The other demons would laugh if their prince was the type of demon Libidine turned out to be. A incubus (and sleep paralysis but that part's not as important) If he used his sleep paralysis abilities, demons feared him. They thought of him as a monster amongst them. His type of demon wasn't as common, especially with him being two different types mixed. Libidine decided to use his abilities to help him. He would escape the castle and do what he could to survive. He would have fun and get his own money by doing small jobs. Valen would find him and bring him back, the first few times Satan wasn't aware. When Satan found out he threatened to kill him. Libidine didn't care, he continued to leave whenever he could. He would escape and live his life, just to come back by morning to be the prince.
When Libidine was an adult, Simon decided to tell him the truth. Libidine was always aware he was different from the others and knew that he wasn't related to anyone here. He believed he was just a classic orphan from those fairytales. Simon told Libidine of where he came from and what had happened. Libidine decided he needed to escape Hell and find his family. A huge fight broke out between him and the Devil. A part of the spell to be able to get out required Satan's tooth. They fought for hours, finally Libidine hitting him hard enough that the tooth flew. He ran away with it and performed the spell in the Inbetween, Valen and Satan on his tail. He escaped just in time, a crack in the sky forming and destorying the barrier blocking the Overworld and Hell for a short amount of time. In this, he was free. The rift closed, leaving a scar in the sky seen by everyone.

Satan Heylel
Satan is basically his adopted father. Libidine doesn't remember his actual parents what so ever (he only meets them once he escapes Hell). He watched Satan lie to him and play him for years, he resents and despises him. Libidine blames Satan for all the wrongs in his childhood and for the corruption of Simon's mind. Satan put Libidine through years of abuse and neglected him his whole life. Libidine saw him as a coward surrounded by power and fear.
Simon Wallace
Simon is Satan's main scientist, so he's always been very close to the Heylel family. He helped Libidine with reading and education as a child, and encouraged his findings. As Libidine got older and Satan saw Simon's potential, Libidine and Simon grew apart. Simon began talking about crazy things and muttering to himself. This scares Libidine, but he still cares about him dearly. This hurt especially since Simon was the only one Libidine trusted enough in Hell to consider a father figure.
Valen Anith
Valen was one of Satan's main guards. Usually she stood at Satan's side and protected him and the prince, Libidine, from all harm. Libidine always looked up to her a lot and she even trained him in combat once he got older. Libidine has always considered her a mother figure and loves her dearly. She's the "tough love" type of character.
