childhood. 

Being the heir to the family, Claiborne was often the topic of most gossip within his family. Unlike, what was expected, he was born with the power of pathokinesis rather than the bloodline affinity of pyrokinesis. The ability to control fire ran thickly in any red flowphist that was even relatively close to the initial ancestors who cultivated the power. Meanwhile, Claiborne had a power that couldn't even be shown, many, including himself, deemed him magicless. Under such critique and speculation, the young red flowphi's mood worsened and his initial cheerful personality hardened. It was quite challenging to maintain a smile around those who would talk behind his back and playing peeving pranks towards him after all. 

In an effort to vent out those frustrations, he often found himself wishing that these targeting parties would experience his own emotions. With his innate ability of pathokinesis, such a thing was possible. He synced his emotions with these flowphists, torturing them with the pressure and stress he had to endure. Claiborne found it even somehow humorous when the same people who bullied him, easily reflected and apologized towards him after Claiborne's first use of magic. Eventually, as he continued cultivating and using his pathokinesis, he became crueler and exhibited meglomania in his use. Sometimes dealing a cruel and unjust emotional experience to someone who would simple call him a 'stupid name.' He did not know the consequences or impacts of his actions.

teenhood.

 Claiborne began adjusting better to his magic. It was also during his teenage years where he began to be introduced towards the future heads of the Vernon and Lyfold Family. They were supposed to be his hands after his father and mother retired from the governing position and passed it to him. Ravenel Vernon and Vance Lyfold soon became his closest and most appreciated friends through the times and ages. Yet an incident with Claiborne's misuse of power came to be directed at them when the three had an argument. He had desperately wanted them to see his point of view, that he in fact forced his own emotions down their throats in an outrage. Claiborne doesn't believe that he would ever wash the disgusted and hurt looks he received from that day out of his mind. Deciding it would be best to never use his power in such a way, he worked to mend his relationships and bonds with his friends. Although he never did like the rest of his extended family, he stopped 'pranking' them with emotional dismay by then.

adulthood.

When his parents headed off to the human realm, Claiborne overtook the position as Albus family head and worked his hardest to maintain and continue the Albus family legacy. Upon the ceremony of becoming the ruler of the red bloodline, he flew down to the human world and fixed up the shrine and offerings of the Flores goddess. By the end of the ordeal and he flew back up to Loreas, he gained the power of pyrokinesis which linked it to his ability of pathokinesis. Being a red pureblood, he had often radiated heat but gaining actual pyrokinesis amplified his innate heat. Often causing tendrils of flame to flare from him whenever his temper was tested. 

He eventually proceeded into an arranged marriage dictated by himself, considering he never had an interest in romance. It was naturally expected by him to continue the direct family bloodline, so he worked in a business contract titled marriage to get it done. His wife, Amaryllis, wasn't a bad spouse in the slightest, meeting all his requirements while treating Clairborne well enough to not have an affair on him. She often upkept the Albus family name through high-society parties and enjoyed them. They had quite a nice friendship from the side. The birth of their son, Everild, eventually brought Claiborne closer to his extended family, even if ever so slightly. 

Nowadays, when he isn't busying himself with his job of governing the Vermillion Rose Grounds, Claiborne is often spending time with his friends, the Vernons and the Lyfolds if he isn't with playing with Everild. He does occasionally accompany Amaryllis to high society parties if she ever beckons. Outside of Vermillion, the red ruler socializes with the other bloodline rulers. Known to often play a game of chess with pyrokinesis and cryokinesis chess pieces with the blue bloodline ruler.
