Markus

Markus was once a human who lived a relatively normal life, until an accident occurred that ended in taking both his and his son's, Zaid, lives. They found themselves in Limbo now taking the form of "Husks", Humanoid creatures humans take on when entering Hell. While the Limbo Layer was livable, Markus had overwhelming guilt that his son was dragged into a place like this. He ended up leaving this Layer in hopes to find a better place to live, one that didn't taunt him of what he could've had if he was in heaven.

The next Layer down, Lust, was very different compared to Limbo. Unlike the grassy fake heaven feeling that Limbo had, this Layer had a huge city, an environment that was familiar to both Markus and Zaid. Markus was able to get an apartment and even a job as a comedian in the local comedy club. While getting used to his new life was difficult he kept pushing on to try and make things the best he could for him and his son.
