Zaid

• He always has a hat on when in public.
• His machine arm is on his right side.
• He can wear different outfits, just nothing that shows his stomach.
• He tends to wear outfits that have a space/dinosaur print on it.

Zaid first arrived in the Limbo layer with his father, Markus. He appeared in this world as a "Husk" as all souls of the living turn into when entering Hell. Sadly for him he got the short end of the stick and ended up turning into a "Filth" class Husk, one of the weakest forms a soul can turn into. With their most notable features being the lack of arms and visible eyes.

The entire situation was distressing and confusing to Zaid. He wasn't sure why he and his dad were in a place like this. Zaid constantly would ask questions to his dad, hoping that he could get some answers to why they were here. Of course his dad couldn't answer them, he too was just as confused as Zaid was.

Life in Limbo was hard for both of them, even more so for Zaid due to having to get used to life without arms. He relied a lot on Markus to do simple tasks which was extremely frustrating for Zaid as he wanted to be more independent. The thing that he wished for more than anything is to be able to have his arms back.

While over time life in Limbo became easier as they adjusted to their new life, Markus still insisted on leaving this layer to find a new place to call home. They both ended up going to the next layer down, which was Lust. Unlike Limbo with it's outdoor and grassy appearance Lust was a huge city. Everything in this layer had a purplish like tone to it, to the buildings to even the skies above.

Markus was able to find an apartment for them to live in, which Zaid was often left at while his dad went off to his comedian job at the local comedy club locations. Zaid was able to do more things on his own now that he's gotten used to not having arms, things were still challenging for him but he was better at doing every day tasks. During his times alone he spent a lot of it watching TV, especially dinosaurs in space one of his favorite cartoons.

Markus started to get into a relationship with a Mindflayer named Norah that he met consistently at work. Zaid was highly curious of Norah when they first met, as he never seen a machine like her before. He tend to ask her lots of questions about herself during this time. Markus really didn't like all the questions Zaid would ask fearing it would scare Norah off right when they were starting to get more serious with their relationship. But Norah didn't mind it, she honestly enjoyed the attention and thought that Zaid was funny.

Markus and Norah's relationship was going well, and over time they both decided to get married. It was an exciting time for all them, Zaid has a new mom now that he already looks up and even a sister, Kaylee which is Norah's adopted daughter. Kaylee was a different story though, she was pretty standoffish to Zaid and acted like she was better than him a lot. Which was extremely annoying to Zaid. While most things about his arrangement was good Kaylee and Zaid would get into fights a lot.

Zaid's dad ended up becoming close friends with a Streetcleaner named Matthew. He was an expert with nearly everything when it comes to machine repair and mechanics. And after Matthew got his shop set up in the city Markus asked him if it was possible to get Zaid machine arms, but have them built in a way that they could be removed if they caused more problems.

Matthew had never made arms that could work on a Husk type like Zaid but with time and planning he was able to make a prototype arm that could work and even be removed if needed like Markus requested. Sadly he was only able to make one due to the materials need to make it work was limited. Once Zaid had his arm in place he was overjoyed to have at lest one of his arms back.

Zaid and his family still live in the Lust Layer city, things really started to get better of him once he got his arm and was able to gain more of his independence back. While life at home sometimes has it's struggles, especially with arguments between him and his sister Kaylee still being a thing that happens from time to time. Even though they get into fights their relationship has gotten better, with Kaylee acting less superior to Zaid and treated him more like an equal. Zaid also is looking forward to when Matthew is able to make his other arm for him to finally regain what he once had.
